    BENCH

I would say Cotchery for R. Smith would be your best move....if you had to make one. I also really think Grossman will have a big year, but I can understand if you wanna camp on him for one more week.

LJ Smith is injured .. what do I do?

I wish I could offer some better advice, but I would really think about dropping Jennings to fill you spot. Taking a zero just isn't worth it unless there is just nobody out there to pick up. You could also look to trade?

    Just got 2 trade offers

I wanted Terry Glenn bad this year and got him sniped from me in both leagues! You gotta take one of these he alone has more value than moss and TG is comin with him! Go for trade 2, Barber is a great risk/potential player but if Jones stays healthy will you ever start him? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=234822

    Please eval trade....Std scoring

This trade seems risky to me, I really feel that Owens will have some good games with Dallas this year. 4 weeks is a long time to wait on your number 1 reciever though...so if your desperate than go for it and just pray J. Addai doesn't make you regret anything! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=234822

    Randy Moss! (Trade Possibilites)

I wouldn't invest a dime in any Oakland player...I like your idea of going after Pennington even if you did keep Moss he would just ride your bench for the year!

    Help me improve!

Wow wow wow you have a lot of great options and I suggest you get moving. Desmond Clark is a great pickup....maybe others will disagree but he has arguably had the best two weeks for any tightend and with the way Chicago is moving the ball he will see lots of TD looks. For similar reasons Grossman is a great pickup as well. My biggest suggestion however is to definately upgrade your receivers....you may think that the rest of your team can win you games but you'd be surprised at how much WR's can make an impact. You dont have any solid options and its starting to look like Lee Evans isn't going to go off any time soon. Jenkins and Bryant are two WR I would try to find in FA and if someone has snatched them up than Cotchery deserves a very long look! Oh crap how did I forget...if you dont drop Lundy for Williams the second you read this, then you will regret you decision for the rest of the season!

    Trade Vick for TJ Housh

My team is listed below...is this a horrible trade for me? I'm worried with all of the receiver that cincy has he is more of a risk this season. I also lack confidence in his health for the season. But I really dont see manning getting hurt so I dont really need Vick.

    QB help

Definately drop Plummer for Grossman, I really think that one more bad week and Cutler will get his chance. I also think Grossman has solidified his job for the season and Parcels has gaurunteed Bledsoe wouldn't start the entire season. Plus Bledsoe sucks hahaha

    Trade Vick for TJ Housh

I know this is low and I'm going to wait for a better offer before I make mine. But the problem is only 1 or 2 teams is weak at QB right now. This might be a situation where I'm better off waiting a week or two. For some reason I dont see Vicks value dropping any time real soon..

Drop Delhomme or Culpepper for Grossman?

At this point I think you have to...I cant tell you which because I'm a huge Dolphins fan and it may be too quick to judge Delhomme with Smith out. I would strongly consider droping Jack for him though because I think Chicago's offense is going to be putting up some points this year...with their Defense the O is going to see a lot of opportunities each game.

Boldin for F. Gore or C. Taylor?

Boldin for Gore is a great trade! I would probably shop him for Taylor as well, but your gonna want to try to grab an insurance receiver from him too.

Rod Smith is a FA...is he still worth a spot?

It is a non-keeper league, at this point I'm beginning to wonder if Jackson wont have a big upside this year and at the same time Denver has 0 passing game. Plummer couldnt have just got this bad overnight...I think Denver has big problems and I really need to be convinced that Smith wouldn't ride my bench all year. As you can see though I need a solid number 1 or 2 receiver. I've been trying to shop Vick and might shop Portis but if i could big him up in FA then my team is lookin very strong.
  13. My team is listed below in my Sig, should I make a move for Smith and if so who should I drop to pick him up? Is Denver really as big a bust as they look or will they be able to recover like last year?

    Trade Advice, Please Help!

I dont think he can go for this, he may want RB's but I dont think its going to be at the expense of one of his two starters....my recommendation is to start looking at other teams and finding a RB just under them. If he loses Taylor he isn't left with much.
  15. twofewbraincell

Branch and DJax .. what to do with them?

Keep them both, I would start Jackson week to week...but incase he gets an injury which seems to happen quite a bid, then you have Branch to throw in. And you never know...Branch could turn out to do really well in their system.

    Need help with possible Trades

I found a team that I know can help me and I have players that can help them, but I am having trouble on deciding which option is my best trade option. Team 1 QB: P. Manning, M. Vick RB: C. Taylor, B. Westbrook, C. Portis, M. Barber WR: D. Driver, D. Mason, J. Galloway, C. Jackson Team 2 QB: Drew Brees, J. Delhomme RB: R. Bush, J. Lewis, D. Rhodes WR: M. Harrison, J. Cotchery, S. Smith, TJ Houshmandzadeh Trade Option 1: M. Vick for S. Smith or M. Harrison Trade Option 2: C. Portis and J. Galloway or D. Mason for TJ Housh and S. Smith or M. Harrison Seems like there are also other possible options, but I realy want a solid reciever to go with Driver and would be willing to part with a decent chunk of my team for Harrison or Smith. I think Portis for Smith would be a good trade because they are both risks at this point in the season. Please help!

    Marques Colston or Isacc Bruce?

Definately Bruce, Colston is making a name for himself and I think he puts Bruces year to shame when all is said and done. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=234454

    RB question

Just to be clear here...I have Portis, Taylor and Westbrook already. Barber and White are only on my bench because I like to keep a few potential backs on my roster every year.
  19. twofewbraincell

    RB question

I have White on my roster right now and really want to see him get a few carries before I drop him. However, I might be crazy but I think Gado can get the #1 spot and have a great year for Houston...if I wait any longer I think someone will grab Gado but I just cant drop White. What would you do? I also have Barber so he's an option as well...

    Running back and WR issues

Allright my in my league I get 1 pt for every 10 yrds and 6 for every TD. Return yards are not a factor. Help me pick 2 of each. RB: Clinton Portis Vs. Dal Brian Westbrook Vs. NYG Chester Taylor Vs. Car WR: D. Driver Vs. NO L. Evans @ MIA J. Galloway @ Atl D. Mason Vs. Oak Right now I have Westbrook and Taylor as my starting backs because I think Westbrook can get enough recieving yards to give me a nice week and Taylor will get many more carries than Portis against a Defense that allowed 250 rush yards to Atlanta last week. Even though I got Portis very late in my draft I still am having trouble benching him..what would you do? For my WR's I have Driver and Evans starting, I think Driver will get thrown at more than any of my other receivers and Evans had 3 TDs last time he played against Miami. Galloway stunk last week but I think he was a steal in the FA market and Mason is at Oak and I think that Baltimore will stick with running the ball... Sorry this was so long but I just wanted to give my input and I hope to here your thoughts! Thanks

Trade Which D? Indy or Carolina?

Hey, you league seems a lot like mine things can tighten up on you really quickly. While you RBs look like they could use immediate help I couldnt see you getting much for either of your defenses. I would recommend you pick up another reciever and wait for Barber to get a few more games under his belt. Tiki is a stud and will carry your backs for now and Foster very well could have his best year ever. Look for someone who has a deep reciever core and try to pick up one with a lot of risk/potential. If you can swap your defense and a third string RB or WR for a good reciever I'd definately take it and pick Gado up in the FA market. He might not get in there quick, but once he gets some carries he's gonna pound you to a few 100 yrd games this year. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233165

    Colston or mcmicheal

haha I have both of these guys on one of my teams as well. I'm playing Randy in one league and colston over randy in the other. I really want to see Randy have a big week but playing Colston as a tight end is just too good to pass up. Id even take him over Clayton this week! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233165

    Trade Offer Help

You have a good looking team man, I would do what the majority is saying and wait this one out. I dont think Coles week was a fluke so let him carry your recievers until Smith is healthy. Your backs will get more valuable the longer you hold them. If Gore has a few more games like his last one you'll be able to get a swap strait up for a stud reciever. So be patient and wait for someone to get a key injury on there team or a bad bye week. Then step in and make a deal that will favor your team a bit more. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233165

for the love of god my RB's suck!

Thanks for you reply, definately go with Bucky. He's a threat to get goaline carries and with Westbrook returning punts he should get more play. I think He's go a really great upside for the season with or without a westbrook injury. 50 yards and a score isnt a stretch for Bucky this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233165 You already replied to mine but I wanted to leave it on here anyways.

Trade for Shaun Alexander - giving up too much?

I think this is a little much to give up for him. If it came down to having stud recievers and stud backs I would definately take the back, but I think there should be a way for you to find 2 players to swap. If you have a back you can spare with more value than Benson, I might try offering him with Driver and keeping TO. If Boldin gets injured you would be in bad shape, its always nice to have some insurance. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233165
