Should I drop C. Cooley and pickup Heath Miller off the waiver wire? Or should I pickup Heath Miller and let someone else go? My team is sick and now I want to make it ultra sick. 8-Team league, 16-man team Starters QB Tony Romo RB Joseph Addai RB Willie Parker WR Terrell Owens WR Wes Welker TE Chris Cooley R/W Clinton Portis PK N. Folk DST Pittsburgh Bench QB Ben Roethlisberger RB Kevin Jones RB Justin Fargas RB Thomas Jones RB Selvin Young WR Chad Johnson WR Hines Ward

If you want to win this year, then yes, do this trade. One thing you have to consider is that Indi is going to be a consistently good team. We don't know that Minnesota is. So it's always best to have a great player on a great team because they get more opportunities in the long run. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=301935

Schaub is an unsure thing. Kurt Warner is on a roll. Go with Warner. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=301935

Absolutely NO DEAL. Palmer didn't even throw a TD last week. Romo has thrown in the end zone every game. Steven Jackson is not putting up superstar numbers. McGahee keeps getting better and better. Stay put. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=301935

J Chatman, j galloway, or s smith for flex pos
electricrelish replied to buffandan's topic in A Little Help!
Smith belongs on your bench until a Carolina QB proves otherwise. I like Joey Galloway first and then J. Chatman. I usually go with RB's for a flex but I think J. Galloway's match up is good. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=301935 -
Philly all the way! Miami can't score much. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=301935

Justin Fargas all the way. You're odds are better because Thomas Jones doesn't get the ball enough when he's going against bad defenses. Minnesota proved vulnerable against the run last week. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=301935

Yeah, you did a good job based on match ups with your lineup, but it's hard to trust Edge. He did not deliver last week when he should have. Either Detroit stepped up or Edge didn't. Now Brandon Jacobs goes against the same team. I just trust Brandon Jacobs more than I do Edge. Very tough one though, and you're in a win-win situation. Last week I had to decide between Bulger and Warner as a backup QB and they both scored the same amount of points in my league so I was in a win-win. I think you can't go wrong with either one, but Edge is the least consistent. I like your WR choices. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=301935

Chicago's defense has fallen. In fact, I dropped them, but I just picked them back up when I saw how high everyone has them ranked this week against Detroit. I know Chicago is looking for revenge since Week 4 they lost to Detroit 37 to 27, but their DST was great. They caused 6 sacks, got 1 TD (Devin Hester I believe) and 2 fumbles and 1 FG block. So I'm thinking of starting them over Pittsburgh, who gave up a lot of points to Denver last week. Thoughts?

WR Question: I have 4 WR and need to start 2. T. Owens is on a bye, so I have W. Welker and Chad Johnson starting and Hines Ward on the bench. Historically, Chad Johnson doesn't do so well against the Steelers. Plus, Cincinnati's secondary's pretty weak. Should I bench Chad Johnson and start Hines Ward instead? Some folks have Hines Ward ranked higher than Chad this week. This is a toughie. RB Question: Thomas Jones vs. Buffalo or Kevin Jones vs. Chicago for my flex position? I'm leaning towards Kevin Jones since Thomas Jones let me down last week. 8-Team, 16-man League Starting QB B. Roethlisberger RB J. Addai RB W. Parker WR Chad Johnson WR W. Welker R/W Kevin Jones TE C. Cooley PK R. Gould DST Pittsburgh Bench QB Tony Romo RB T. Jones RB C. Portis WR T. Owens WR H. Ward K N. Folk

I agree. Hard to sit Addai, but you have better matchups, plus Addai is splitting time. Please see both of mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298379 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298369

It's a toss-up. If R. Brown is going to do it again, this is the week. However, the more proven receiver is K. Walter. I'd go with K. Walter. GB has the better D for your Defense question. We are talking about Week 8, right? How are you in the playoffs already? The Ravens are on a bye. You can't start McGahee. You have to start W. Parker and T. Jones. L.J. Smith TE, Philadelphia Eagles The Philadelphia Enquirer reports that Smith says he is confident that his groin injury is finally healing. Please see both of mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298379 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298369

This trade is ridiculously fantastic. You will be a powerhouse. Take this trade ASAP. Please see both of mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298379 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298369

We all know that Denver can't stop the run. Plus, D. Wynn has been getting a healthy number of goal line touches. Should I drop K. Keith and pickup D. Wynn and start him instead of Marice Jones-Drew? Or perhaps I should bench J. Chatman and grab D. Wynn for my flex? 10 team league (non-ppr) Starters QB B. Farve RB J. Addai RB M Jones-Drew WR R. Moss WR D. Stallworth TE O. Daniels R/W J. Chatman PK S. Gostkowski DST Pitts Bench QB T. Romo (bye) RB S. Alexander (bye) RB S. Young RB K. Keith WR A. Johnson (IR)

Pickup D. Wynn and sit Maurice Jones-Drew?
electricrelish replied to electricrelish's topic in A Little Help!
So do you think I should drop K. Keith and pickup D. Wynn and then sit J. Chatman? -
Great trade! I think LJ has a good schedule the rest of the week, and frankly I don't think Braylon Edwards can keep it up all year long. Even if he does, I still think you have a monster team now and it was a good move.

K. Curtis, R. Williams and H. Ward start 2
electricrelish replied to Springer's topic in A Little Help!
Sit R. Williams. He didn't show up the last time they played Chicago. Please see both of mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298379 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298369 -
Here's my preference in order: 1. K. Walters - SD secondary is soft. 2. I. Hilliard - He's coming along, but Jacksonville is tough D, but not so tough against Indi, so there's hope. 3. Stokely - Pittsburgh looked vulnerable against Denver and so will GB's secondary. 4. Randel-El - NE is a tough match-up, but he's playing better than S. Moss. Please see both of mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298379 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298369

Which WR's to start this week - Ward, Evans, Cotchery, Curtis
electricrelish replied to wazja0708's topic in A Little Help!
This is a tough one, but every situation you have is win-win. I would go with K. Curtis - Yes, I like this one the best. McNabb should be great against Minn. H. Ward - Big things are expected from Big Ben this weekend and they include Hines Ward. I know the history, but I still think he's due. Lee Evans - Yes, Buffalo will run all day, but that will free up the passing game and Lee Evans is finally coming on. J. Cotchery - anohter good choice, but he's the most inconsistent and he's #2 to LC. Please see both of mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298379 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298369 -
yeah, it's not a good idea. M. Turner only comes in sparingly or in a blowout. See who you can pickup and drop M. Turner if you have to. Please see both of mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298379 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298369

Calvin Johnson hasn't really done anything since he came back from his injury. I like the following: Holmes (Cincy's D can't stop anything) Curtis (Minn's secondary D sux) Holt (If he doesn't do it in this game, then you can forget about him) Please see both of mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298379 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298369

I don't have a good feeling about it at all. Take the Saints. Please see both of mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298379 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298369
