About hddque27

  1. OK, I am in dire straights. I pretty much have to win this weekend to keep my fleeting playoff hopes alive. Compounding the issue, I am playing the first place team this weekend who is undefeated in our league. My lineup is as follows: QB: Kitna RB: T. Jones RB: Maroney WR: Santana Moss WR: Donte Stalworth WR: Brandon Stokley K: Dawson DST: Titans/Seahawks It goes without saying that Kitna has been killing me at QB ,and I cannot afford to have him kill me again this week. I picked up Alex Smith and Kellen Clemens to play matchups for the rest of the year since I do not have a stud QB. That being said, who should I play this weekend. Do you think that Kitna will finally break out or should I go with my instintcs and play Clemens--who I think will have a good game this weekend. Give me your input. Also, Titans Defense versus Carolina this weekend or Seahawks versus Browns??

Thinkin of a crazy Trade...high risk

Just to add to the intrigue, i'm 0-2 right now. Even though I'm the third highest scoring team

    WR Starters for this week

I am hesitant about starting two WRs from the same team unless they are both beasts like harrison+wayne or Fitzgeral+Boldin. I would definetly go with Cotchery. I'm not convinced that he will do the same thing he has done for the past couple of weeks, but I like this matchup with the bills. He should get at least a TD + over 50 yards.
  5. My current lineup consists of the following: QBs: Jake Delhomme Phillip Rivers RB: Tiki Barber Fred Taylor Deshaun Foster Duece McCalister Laurence Moroney WR: Larry Fitzgerald Anquan Bolden Lee Evans Eric Moulds Braylon Edwards K: Josh Brown Defense: Bears I'm in a 12 league team, and there are no RBs and QBs of note left out there in the free agent pool. So obviously I have some trade bait with RBs if i want to upgrade either my QB or 3rd WR position. Here is what I am thinking, I found someone who is desperate for a QB that is willing to give up Clinton Portis for Jake Delhome. I would take that trade, and then turn around and pick up Mark Burnell from the free agent pool and drop Lee Evans. I would then thread water for the next couple of weeks until I package two RBs to get a legit number one QB, and trade another RB + either Moulds or Edwards to get another legit number one WR to go along with Fitzgeral and Bolden. In the meantime, I would have to depend on Philip Rivers as my main QB. Is it worth it? Is the drop off that could be associated with trading Delhome worth the up side of picking up Portis? let me know what you think of my position and the strenght of my team.
