Next years Ray Rice type candidate?

What about Donald Brown or Justin Forsett?
  2. I can accept that from a fellow Eagles fan.
  3. I didn't get it at first either but now I think I do. Most of the poster on this thread probably didn't make the playoffs and probably almost never do. I'm glad I don't know that feeling! Merry Christmas!!!

2 receivers enter 1 receiver win!

AUSTIN. Jennings has been more inconsistent, Dallas and NO should be a shoot out.

    WR Question... Rice-Boldin-Wayne

They all look good, but you have to wonder what is up with the Cards. That being said I would take a look at who have been the most consistent in your league's scoring system and play them. My gut says Rice and Wayne.

    Flacco, Hass, or A.Smith

Need some help here. I'm thinking of just sticking with the hottest hand and playing Alex Smith at Philly, but I also think the Flacco or Hass (if he can stand) could do well too this week. QB: Flacco, Hasselbeck, Alex Amith RB: Rice, Gore, Benson, B. Scott WR: Colston, Austin, Megatron, Cotchery, Housh, TE:Witten, Carlson K: Tynes D: MIN

    Even Slaton's coach hates him

Traded Slaton and Josh Morgan for Marshawn Lynch and Colston the week before the season started!

Slaton not the red zone back!

Me too. I thought I had the next big thing after that game. Boy was I wrong... But I have Slaton and a trade offer where I get Lynch and Colston for Slaton and Josh Morgan. I think I should do it now.

    KEEPER ADVICE

Here's the thing. In my league, if you take the top 60 scorers from last year and subtract the QBS, Gore ranks #36 anf Fitzgerald is #2. If you keep in the QBS Fitzgerald is #11 and Gore is #57. If've been holding onto Gore for 4 years like I said and the last 3 years he has finished right around this ranking. I love Gore's toughness and attitude, but I need something to convince me this year. Give me your best argument for keeping him.

    KEEPER ADVICE

I should have mentioned it's a 10 team league. You make good points. The only thing with Gore is the last couple of years he's gotten nicked up and missed time, now he should see even more work. So does that mean he's going to miss time agian and kill me again come play offs? If only they made a FF crystal ball!!!

Keep Pierre, DeSean, and Rivers. These Guys are all solid and you wouldn't get them at the same value this year. Pierre will get most of the carries and Rush Tds, and if Bush goes down, which is likely given his track record, he has a chance to finish as the #1 or #2 RB in fantasy. Worst case is top 15. Kevin Smith I would let go and if you like him try to pick back up. DeSean is only going to get better and should raise from a servicable #3 fantasy WR to a #2 or low end #1 this year. You could make an argument for Matty Ice, but I'm leaning a little towards Rivers and then if you really like Ryan try to re-draft him as well in the 6th or 7th round.

    If you had this team....

It looks good but not great. I would like to have seen a better WR, and I don't think Maclin is going to do what DeSean did last year. Too many WR's in Philly. I think he'll have a decent year by football standards but not by fantasy this year. And I am an Eagles homer. I also think you could have gotten a better QB 1. You have too many questions and risk involved with both for my liking. I like to have atleast one sure thing and then go for the upside guy a little later.

    KEEPER ADVICE

I'm n a PPR league with yardarge plateau bonouses and all TD's equal 6pts. 16 round sepentine draft. We each get to keep one player and we loose the round that they were drafted in the previous year. We've been at this for close to ten years just so you understand why this may look whacky. I could: Keep Fitz, loose my 1st Keep Gore who I've had for 4 years, loose a 5th Keep Rodgers and loose a 6th or keep Warner and loose a 13th (got him off of waivers after week one last year) Obviously Fitz is a stud. I have concerns about Madden combined with Super bowl hangover. Gore is steady and may have a career year based on the new OC. Rodgers could be a top 5 QB for years to come. Warner is high risk because of age and SB hangover, but also very high reward. The other thing about Warner and Fitz is a possible shift to more ball controll and (possibly) an improved Defence and an easy shedule which moght allow them to run more. These are all great choices, but I'm just undecided at this time. Oh - I could also keep Costen for a 2nd or Bowe for an 8th or DeSean for a 12th.

    McNabb To Start Thursday

Here's a conspiracy theory for you - maybe that's what Reid wants! Nah - But seriously, the reality is that he is too prideful to admit that he's been wrong with his talent evaluation and his game planning for years. He's a good head coach but won't ever be great unless he can evolve. And I don't think he will. It's time to accept the reality as Eagles fans. We had a great 10 years, but it is time to rebuild. And hopefully we get lucky enough to get a coach like Cowher who knows how to get his team ready to fight.

Is it acceptable to give other owners advise?

Don't do it. Last year I was picking in the 10 spot in a 10 team league and gave the guy in the 9 spot some strategic advice that would set us both up for the rest of the draft, which it did. So it worked to my advantage, I lead the lead and ended the regular season as the #1 seed heading into the playoffs. I faced him in the first round, he was the fourth seed. Long story short, my team completely tanked in the playoffs, his team got uber hot. He wins the championship and I end up taking fourth place. NEVER GIVE ADVICE TO GUYS YOU PLAY AGAINST UNLESS YOU ARE GETTING PAID FOR YOUR ADVICE! I don't care if it's your best friend or a close realative, because after all, it is about the braggin' rights. Besides, if the other guy is too obliviuos to make intelligent choices that's his problem. So he loses to the other guy. When you play him you should be able to wipe the floor with him too, right?
