I would love to see any of you people ripping projections to make your own projections for your entire league for the remainder of the year and be within 1.5% accurate like yahoo has been for the first half of the year.

I just so happen to keep a ton of stats for my league. Projections are one of them, here are my findings. We have 12 teams, here are the projections for those 12 teams, in terms of total points for the year, to date. Projected ----------- Amount +/- Projection 1196.96 ------------- +123.26 1165.22 --------------------------- -25.43 1172.77 ------------- +56.08 1298.66 ------------- +19.67 1373.00 ------------- +118.47 1090.42 ------------- +29.06 1275.16 ---------------------------- -35.39 1144.76 --------------------------- -44.95 1090.56 --------------------------- -26.84 1276.23 ------------- +19.61 1121.65 --------------------------- -64.43 1210.24 ------------- +31.9 That comes out to a total of 14,415.63 projected points and 14,616.64 scored points Pretty damn close if you ask me, within 1.5%. Also, the team projected to win is 35-19 on the year. Also pretty good imo. The breakdown is as follows, in terms of by how many points the projected winner is projected to win by. 0-5 points 8-7 5-10 points 9-2 10-20 points 10-7 20+ points 8-3 So I would not be so hasty to write off the projections.
