I mean, if you did your research you would have seen that Green's snap count was directly attributed to Eddie Royal being less than 100%/out for a game. With him being active/healthy again, the 2 TE sets go away and Green's snap count goes back to miniscule.

Good information (not insightful, but more like instant alerts on injuries/players put on IR/status changes - news events like these) is still given from time to time, and I do want to win my leagues, of course. I go elsewhere for insightful conversations about players values and enjoyable debates with people.

I've been here a while now, and sadly there are definitely other FF forums out there with much, much better communities than this one these days.

Unfortunately my league commish has decided that only players going on season ending IR can be put on our IR. So, since this was an eligible to return IR situation, Beanie cannot be put on IR for my FF team. Had to cut him . Any other leagues work like this?

Team A adds Martellus Bennett to the roster Thursday and starts him vs the Panthers, dropping his kicker. Team A wants to open up a roster spot for a new kicker for Sunday, but has no players he wants to drop (besides Bennett) Bennett of course cannot be dropped since he already played. Player A posts a message to the league, stating he will accept any trade for Bennett as long as it is done today. Explaining that he wants to receive a player back that is dropable, so he may start a kicker this week, all of this of course benefits team A's team. Player B proposes a trade for who he deems his least valuable player for Bennett, team A accepts. Are there any problems with this? It is not collusion, both teams are making a trade trying their best to improve their teams chance of winning. Real life NFL, NBA teams etc, do this all the time where they trade for a player then release him. No where does it state this is against the rules. Just want some neutral opinions on the matter. Let me know if you have any more questions about the details of the scenario. Thank you.

I actually do appreciate your guys help, I thought I said that already, but if it wasn't clear then sorry if I came across as rude, I was just trying to have a discussion. I don't believe our league would have thought to enforce this rule without you guys bringing it up, which is why I am grateful. It is being voted on now and seems like it will pass. Personally I am neutral to it, but always am in favor of rules that are passed by majority. Though some of you really need to take the collective stick out of your ass. There is just no reason to be as rude as some of you have been. Pretty standard for the Internet though I suppose.

As soon as someone gave me a legit rule that applies to this scenario I no longer had issue with blocking it, if that is what the league wants.

It's been like 6 years and this is the first time it has come up. I wouldn't say it's that critical of a rule.

All new rules should always be voted on by the league. This is a game, and it is meant to be played for fun. Each league has the right to determine what that is, and by not allowing the league as a whole to decide you risk the league deteriorating.

This rule makes sense, I think the best thing to do at this point is have a league vote on whether to implement this rule or not, that's really all it comes down to. The original reason the commish gave me for wanting to decline it was far different from this, which is why I reacted so negatively. I don't like feeling like I don't have control of my own team when I am only trying to improve my team. Been in leagues like that, and they suck. But this rule is legit, so we should vote on it.

This trade absolutely is what allows me to improve my team. Without this trade I will not have a kicker and be out 6-8 points this week.

I'm not dropping him, I'm trading him. So are you saying no player should be able to be traded that has already played that week? Because that is not a rule that exists in our league. If I don't trade Bennett I am just going to drop him Tuesday, as he is the low man on my roster. He was a FA 2 days ago for a reason.

Can you give reasons as to why you feel this way, or why any of my reasons are wrong? What rule is being broken? Does it not happen in real life all the time?

I would not be opposed to this rule for next season, it does seem fair. However, there is no rule for this currently, and we have never enforced any other trades in this way. I am sure we have traded players before that have already played during the week (or made trades on Sunday), and the trade was not held until end of the night Monday. So I don't see how it is fair to only enforce it now.

So, Michael Turner is almost 1st round material and Beanie is 5th round+ ??? Turner - 1129yds and 9tds Wells - 1047yds and 10tds I have owned both all year and value both almost identically...just don't understand the drastic gap in your rankings here at all.

What happened on the fumble? Yahoo league here, initially it was scored as a fumble lost for Blount, it has since been taken away. I am playing vs Blount so I could really use that -2 points for my opponent.

What no one seems to realize is the bears have offered forte a new contract, which he has turned down. Forte is making what, about 600k this season? The bears offered something like 18mil guaranteed and 6-8 mil per season. I'm not sure on the exact numbers, but it is VERY respectable in my opinion. Forte is entitled to his opinion, and he believes he is worth considerably more money. I think he is foolish for turning down that much money, if I were him I would have just asked for another 10%, probably gotten it and been on my way to a nice comfortable life. But forte wants almost double as much. If he ends up getting hurt or somehow not getting the bears original offer, I have no sympathy for him. He knows his options and he is choosing to gamble for the mega contract. Good luck to him, but he has been offered a fair amount of money already and turned it down.

Agreed with pack. I gave the "trolling" response as you choose to call it because this thread is a joke. This new guy knows how to play real fantasy football and you guys do not. Plain and simple. What you guys want to play I'd more accurately describe as fantasy flag football.
