Keeper league - johnathon stewart or darren mcfadden
redshirtrookie replied to All_The_Way's topic in A Little Help!
mcfadden based on talent alone. no question. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798 -
Need 2RB out of this bunch of mediocrity.....
redshirtrookie replied to cactuscat34's topic in A Little Help!
i would play smith and morris, rhodes in place of morris if addai comes back. even if it's RBBC in NE, ARI can't stop anyone on the ground. if there are crap condtions, they'll run it even more. if addai is out, the choice is easy, rhodes and smith. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798 -
i would start williams and gore assuming gore starts. i also would bench b marshall. he hasnt been living up to his bill either. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798

everything looks good, but i'd think twice about starting mcnabb. it's a division game. denver needs to win to keep SD out of the playoffs. i would pull the trigger on cutler. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798

One more game to complete the 8th Seed upset

i think you've got it spot on. either warner or cassel wouldnt be a bad start. both def are #1 and #2 in terms of TDs given up through the air, ARI gives up the most, NE is right behind them. teh pats are beat up on defense but at the same time, theyre playin for a playoff spot. the cards also need to prove they can beat a good team. i think this one's a barn burner. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798 -
i disagree. i think you start slaton and thomas based on matchups alone. washington may be in the crapper, but i doubt they go quietly. even if it is westbrook. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798

the only change i make is starting avery instead. i would keep the rest the same. start rhodes over grant if he is out. grant has been spotty at best, and the pack have nothing to play for. the bears have everything to play for. they arent going to let the pack get out of it easy, not to mention the rivalry. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798

Pick up Pierre Thomas and Drop LT, S. Jackson, or Lynch? Help!
redshirtrookie replied to princehallg357's topic in A Little Help!
my answer wouldnt change. i wouldnt drop any of those players if you were playing for keeper status. thomas splits the load in NO normally. just for kicks, i would keep: lynch, andre johnson, and larry fitz for RB, WR and Flex positions. -
in this order, assuming addai is back: morris barber rhodes http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798

is there no one else? johnson is tough sell against pitt, but he's just as hard to drop. i would pull the trigger. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798

Pick up Pierre Thomas and Drop LT, S. Jackson, or Lynch? Help!
redshirtrookie replied to princehallg357's topic in A Little Help!
if youre playing solely to win THIS year, then yes. sjax is very tempting to drop. they dont look like they'll be getting better next year, but we all know that depends on FA and drafting. LT is getting close to teh end (imo), so that could be an option too. if youre playing for keeper status, i say no. thomas will shares carries with bush as long as the both are in NO. that doesnt bode well for a keeper. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798 -
cassel, easily lt slaton sjax wayne colston holt he's got better matchups than you think, but i'd give you the edge. addai is coming off injury. turner plays a tough run def, BUT theyre missing players this week. i think johnson stays hot, forte lights up GB's horrid run defense, and warner will light up the NE secondary. they're hurt and struggling. 2nd most TDs in the league. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=336798
