Obama admits he's not the messiah

Agreed. It's frightening just how many foolish people out there are letting themselves be bamboozled by his slick tongue and oratory skills. He's a radical socialist who isn't qualified to lead a Cub Scout troop, much less be elected POTUS.

    Santonio Holmes or Calvin Johnson?

Lol, this thread is quite humorous. We'll all have to sit back and enjoy the season and see who is justified in the end. I'll be watching every possible game that I can. Living in Alaska(born and raised in the Pittsburgh area), I had no choice but to get the NFL Sunday Ticket Super Fan package and I can't wait to put it to use.

    Santonio Holmes or Calvin Johnson?

Holmes' best? I think not. So many of you are underestimating the impact of having a top-notch QB like Big Ben and a journeyman like Kitna. Am I saying that Holmes has the physical tools that Johnson does? Hell no. Am I saying that he'll put up better stats this year. Hell yes.

    Santonio Holmes or Calvin Johnson?

Granted. By the same token, given Roy Williams' proclivity for getting injured, if he isn't in there Johnson will be double-teamed all day. Eh, who knows what will happen this year. But, given my choice in a draft and both were available, I'd take Holmes. But, that's why they play the games.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. However, given that Kitna spends most of his time running for his life, just as Ben as has done in recent years(however, he makes some of his best plays while doing so), I like Holmes' chances for putting up numbers.

    Santonio Holmes or Calvin Johnson?

I've watched every single game that Holmes has played in. He's going to be a top 10 fantasy WR this year. Big Ben is a far superior QB than Kitna is, no contest. Does Johnson have better physical skills? Unquestionably. However, the Steelers' offense is much better than Detroit's. That will give Holmes many more TD chances. From a purely fantasy standpoint, I'd draft Holmes over Johnson any day of the week. Just my $.02.
  7. You should have seen Obama try to answer a question about Russia's invasion of Georgia. He mumbled, double-talked, and then stated that "both sides should show restraint." Hmm, if a woman is being raped, should she show "restraint" and not resist? Obama is a radical leftist tool who isn't qualified to run a Salvation Army soup kitchen, much less be POTUS. It's amazing that the legions of mindless lemmings fawning over him have absolutely no clue what kind of person he really is. I'm not a huge McCain fan but he's a darn sight better than that socialist jagoff Obama.

Seconded. Holmes is going to have a monster year.

    Am I stupid or what?

That's a tough one to call. You have good depth at WR so that helps significantly. You may be weakened in the short term but if Alexander comes back at anywhere near 100%, you may be golden. So, on balance, it was probably worth it. As someone stated, you have to take risks to win. Remember the British SAS motto, "Who dares, wins."

Rudi for t. jones straight up.

That's a tough call. As things stand now, it would be very good. However, there are some rumblings coming out of Chitown: (Rotoworld) Offensive coordinator Ron Turner said Wednesday that RB Cedric Benson will see significant action in Week 8. Impact: Turner said Benson would be in the game by the second or third series, which is a major change. ''He needs to be in more,'' Turner said. ''Thomas [Jones] is a very good player and we're going to get Thomas his carries, but we believe Cedric is, too, and we've got to get him in.... If it's a tight game, or whatever kind of game it is, he needs to be in there and he will be in there.'' This could be the start of a shift towards a running back by commitee. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=248227

    Trade Advice

T Bell's schedule weeks 14-16: 14 at Chargers 15 at Cardinals 16 vs Bengals Yes, the Chargers will be tough. However, having the Cardinals and Bengals in the playoffs will be clutch. So I still say no. You might as well throw Denny Green in there behind that horrid offensive line in Arizona.

    Lineup Help for Week 8

None of them are that good but Gore is the lesser of the evils. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=248227

    Trade Advice

Absolutely not! James is completely and utterly worthless. T Bell has excellent matchups during the fantasy playoff weeks. Delhomme is a great every-week start with S Smith back in full force. Plus, on Delhomme's bye week, you can play Losman. Losman is going up against the Packers, who have the WORST pass D in the league. DO NOT DO THIS! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=248227

    Burress, Housh, and Ward

Definitely Housh. Pittsburgh will always try to run the ball 60% of the time and I flat out think that Burress is a lazy scumbag. Yes, I'm from western PA. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=248227

    Starters in question?

Definitely Pennington. Cleveland's secondary is injury-riddled. Warrick Dunn. Cincinnati couldn't stop Adrian Peterson on crutches. Andre Johnson. The Steelers are going to ram the ball down Oakland's throat with Parker and eat Andrew Walter alive. They won't need to pass. Thanks for answering mine.
