  2. NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports Travis Henry (knee) will not play on Monday night against the Titans. Schefter adds that no ruling on the appeal of Henry's one-year suspension is expected until next week, so he might be able to play at Chicago in Week 12 if his knee progresses before then. We'll have the Broncos' inactives list posted on the site roughly an hour before game time, but it looks like Selvin Young will start and dominate the carries against Tennessee. per Rotoworld
  3. No, he had it right. Glen Holt, the current #3 WR for the bengals.

    Javon Walker

I guess Javon isn't as close to playing this week as we originally thought. From KFFL... Broncos | Walker misses practice Thursday Bill Williamson, of The Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos WR Javon Walker (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 18. He may not be able to play week 7.

    I'm quitting my job

Wow, small world. I think we work at the same place. They already blocked pretty much everything else, I don't know why they had to block rotoworld. Just a tip, we can still use KFFL, thats about it.

Anybody got a status on Addai?

From what I've seen of Keith this season/preseason, he has been effective when given the opportunity. He may not quite obtain the projections Addai has for this Sunday if he plays, but it will be close enough where you should feel safe plugging him in IMO.

    Packers 34, Vikings 3

I could definitely see both happening.
  9. Not that I think it matters much, but Incognito should be back. Per Rotoworld: Rams RG Richie Incognito (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday. Good news for Brian Leonard. Incognito rotated with Milford Brown at right guard. Claude Terrell was on the left with Adam Goldbert at right tackle.
  10. Driver seems to be underrated year after year. I guess he's just not "flashy" enough.

How well does J.P Losman do against NE?

Last year's stats vs. New England Week 1 Buf @ NE: Losman 15/23, 164 yds, 0 TDs 0 INTs Evans 2 rec 25 yds Week 7 NE @ Buf: Losman 16/25, 192 yds, 0 TDs 1 INT Evans 1 rec 10 yds I'm not saying past performance is definitive of what to expect next week, certainly there are other factors, but from what Losman and Evans did against NE last year I wouldn't expect much from either.

    Conspiracy Theory – PATS

Mr. marshMan, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this bored is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

    Survival Pools...week one looks brutal

Denver over Buffalo also seems like a valid choice.

vetoable, dumb or makin too much of it

Looking at the specific situation, I would argue collusion based solely on that fact right there.

    Big decisions

I think you are overanalyzing the situation. You have the opportunity to keep a 1st round draft pick for 6th round value. I understand your analysis of losing the value of a 6th round pick over an 11th round pick, but this is still a no-brainer to me. Benson hasn't proven anything in the NFL yet as far as being the featured back, so you would be betting on an unknown commodity, while Gore put up monster number last season and looks to be primed to do it again this season. I would rather lose a 6th round pick and have a guaranteed #1 RB stud than lose an 11th round pick and have a questionable #2 RB. IMO, stick with Gore.

    Redraft league

I'd go with Mahoney. With Tackleberry gunning the ball around and Hightower leading the way for him he should be in for a solid year.

Seriously, you still take SJax no question. We've already seen LJs ceiling, I don't think we've seen SJs yet.

Martz expects Kevin Jones back week 1

When did I say I thought KJ would be ready for the season? And what does citing the amount of carries other RBs on the team got have to do with goal line carries? In 2005 Heath Evans + Kevin Faulk 102 carries. CLEARLY New England took goal line duties away from Dillon. Your pretty good at googling stats i must say, but your misuse of them in this thread is quite obvious to say the least. All I said is that I don't think Duckett vulturing TDs is necessarily true if KJ works his way back to #1 this season, and you've presented nothing to prove otherwise. Your going in a completely different direction.

Martz expects Kevin Jones back week 1

No, more like CLEARLY it is convenient to lump Tatum and KJ's stats together... Not that I think crunching numbers is definitive of reality, but 233 of those attempts came from Tatum and only 2 TDs. On the other hand, KJ had 181 attempts and 6 TDs. Not exactly equal to Portis, but in no way is Portis blowing him out of the water in that category either. You can't say with any sort of certainty that Duckett will vulture TD's as you are. The same thing was said when Washington got him and we all know how that went. Of course when Portis went down last year Duckett got more carries. That's usually what happens when a team's primary RB goes down, the backups get more carries. I think KJ has a similar skillset to Portis as far as getting into the endzone. If KJ is out and Tatum is the man, then I could see the Lions using Duckett for goal line duties. But if KJ is healthy and works his way back to being #1, I think you will see him being used similarly to last year, including goal line carries.

Maybe we should ask the Redskins what the point is.

    Tony Hunt

I agree. I was in his class at penn state and watched every one of his games, and he never did one thing to impress me. Poor vision, doesn't hit the hole hard, and NEVER, and I mean NEVER tries to make something happen. I've never seen somebody more consistently run into a non-existent hole. Seriously, I mean I'm not saying I wanted the guy to run like Barry Sanders, but when its 3rd and 3 and they give you the ball, at least TRY to get the first down. If the entire play didn't pan out exactly the same way it did in practice, there was zero chance Tony Hunt was getting through. It seemed like eventually Michael Robinson got so tired of this he decided he'd just run every play himself. Also, I guess it's because of his size and general lack of speed that people seem to think he's a power runner, but he's not. He goes down first contact pretty much every play, and I can't remember seeing him fight for too many tough yards. I'm being overly critical of the guy, but really, he's not good.
