    Thomas Jones......is it just me?

Haven't seen him go that low and I've seen quite a few mocks over the past couple weeks. The latest he's gone is mid third round. Don't count on getting him in the 4th, that's for sure. After Henry, McGahee, MJD, and Ronnie Brown go off the board who else is there? Benson and Jones seem to be the next two backs taken, sometimes Edge. Jacobs and Caddy usually get taken a bit later. The wild card seems to be Portis. I've seen him go in the first and I've seen him last until the end of the third.

    Curtis Granderson

That was a crazy ass catch. He's been ripping it up on my roto team all year.

Which poker player do you love to watch get his ass handed to him?

Yeah, he does seem like a cack. I root against him, too.

You're right, it wasn't. Have you ever explained to someone that you go to fantasy football message boards and have them go Then, you tried to explain that there's only about 25 million people doing it...... It's kind of like that.

    Thomas Jones......is it just me?

Gore was going in the third in most drafts last year. The first poster here I saw hype him was nobody. If someone picked him #13, good for him. That certainly wasn't the norm. Jones seems to be going in the middle of the second in the mocks I've seen over the past couple weeks. The dink and dunk does suit him. Pennington is not as bad as this thread makes him out to be. Neither is the Jets line. They should have a solid offense this year and give NE a run for their money much like last year. I don't see Jones putting up Gore-like numbers, but he should be a nice value in the middle of the second round, especially in PPR leagues.

You know how you can turn the channel and find poker on just about any time of day? That means people are watching. But welcome to the century.

That's what I thought. Slam anybody that wants to make the environment a topic but have nothing to bring to the table, like usual. Thanks for playing.

Partially agree with your first points. But it just seems to me any time you mention anything environmental, the guys here that take the right on EVERY SINGLE ISSUE start talking nonsense. Like, "How much jet fuel was used getting the bands there?" I saw the same crap on Fox and Friends this morning. Maybe libs hijack the issue because the cons let them. I know there is a big movement in churches to start making the environment a priority. http://www.goarch.org/en/ourfaith/articles/article8024.asp http://www.episcopal-life.org/26769_62397_ENG_HTM.htm I consider myself social lib/fiscal con as you do, but I certainly applaud the churches for getting in on the act. Libs don't have to own the issue. It can be something everyone cares about (like taxes, terrorism, etc.). It just sickens me to see people any time the environment is mentioned. Like it's their goal to trash the world or something. As far as your second point goes, I agree we need to embrace nuclear power, but it's not the only answer. I just saw Who Killed the Electric Car? last weekend. It was an eye-opener, for sure. We need to find alternatives for energy. Our government is failing us in that aspect. There's no question about it.

I don't think that at all. But it seems that there are some people that get defensive any time you say the word environment. Look at the definition of conservative. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/conservative Shouldn't protecting the environment be a fundemental belief of true conservatives?

What is your point, here? That rock stars flew in private jets and it took fuel for them to get to the show? That people created garbage that they would have created during their daily lives, anyway? Is this really what the right wing stance about the environment is? Are you that much against eco-friendliness that you're going to bring up asinine nonsense that really has nothing to do with the topic at hand? All these people are trying to say is that we should take care of our environment. Do you want to trash the world for anyone and everyone that inhabits this planet after you're gone? Is that your message? I mean, seriously. That's how you're coming off.

I'm not Republican. Search my posts. I'm more liberal, if anything. I just think the world would be a better place if you got shoved in an oven.

    Bonds' All-Star votes

Nice comment, edjr. What the fock does Bonds have to do with Joey Chestnut?
  23. Right. And when the women's NFL starts up, they should make as much money as the men because they play four quarters. Your question lacks reason. It's all about the money. The women bring in the money. Not the men. I thought you went to business school. Guess not.
