    Closing Out Black History Month

I fail to see the humor in this.

http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/sig...arnhard&251 Work your way up. I don't know all of the inside jokes, but Jefery is generally regarded as the best. I also like the posts from Pink Floyd and Waltrip. I have no clue who posted any of them. Don't be afraid to ask what a joke means. I don't know all of them. I do know one thing, though. fftoday won this petition.

I think I'd take Durant over Oden

Durant has skills. Oden has size and the capability to block shots inside. I realize Oden is only 19 but how is his game different from a 23 year old Theo Ratliff? He has no inside game outside of easy dunks. His attempt at a hook shot is a nightmare. I don't think the guy is worthless, but I'd rather have the guy that will show up for big games and carry his team. People I want to hear from on this: Tarhole, JT, Fumble, t.j, Bunster, CH, Swerski, cmh, Jessy, Cdub, shovel, Wood, TRF, CTT, FBT, DBZ.

Just finished the FFT Metro Detroit League live draft

Metrosexual Detroit League draft? Is that where all the guys wear pink t shirts two sizes two small, like you've been known to do?
  10. http://www.comforthouseannex.com/grizzlybear.html I think I could take this grizzly bear with his own wheelbarrow.
  11. Actually prolly a little more than 25% against group 5. Even though you have a shotgun, you may not know how to use it or just hit the bear in the arm or something. I'd say 40% bear. Still way better odds than a friggin spear. I'm not saying it would be impossible to kill the bear with a spear or nice hunting knife....but anyone here wouldn't have a better than 10% shot of killing the bear.
  12. Group 5. If any of you think you can fight a grizzly bear with a knife or a spear, you're focking nuts. The bear is more agile than you, plus 13 focking feet tall. As soon as you're in range, you'll get your heart ripped out with one swipe.

Buying a car at a dealership

Some good advice in this thread. Don't go for payments. Go for total price. And tell them you're not buying on your first visit. Kids out of college are the easiest hustles out there. I advise you go with your toughest as nails, doesn't like anything, friend. Or your dad. Always good to have a bad cop to temper the temptation for the emotional buy, which all car dealers bank on. Otherwise, you'll easily fall into the pitfalls these guys are telling you to avoid when you see a car you like. Also, deciding you want to buy from a dealer isn't the best decision, in my book. Why not give an owner a shot to sell you their car? They don't have to pay commission to anyone. Also, if you deal with a finance manager and he tries to upsell you on crap after you've decided on a car, it's generally all a scam.
  14. How's the boxing going? Did you go last night?

    Dane Cook

You people are friggin retards. I don't think Dane is the best thing since sliced bread, but he has the spontaneous thing going for him. Comedy is a lot of timing and redtodd's comment re: "the boy band of comedy" only confirms how unfunny redtodd actually is. I don't think Dane is opening for a has-been at Indian-run casinos nowadays. Anyone that has seen Cook's cashew on the peemus routine knows. He's not Richard Pryor but there's a reason he's making millions being on stage and you clowns aren't.

Toro, let's hear your reasoning for bailing this time

Yeah.....I didn't understand why you dodged the idea of ditching your supposed boxing lesson last night. I didn't understand why you're so hyped about ditching your "lucrative" career to start mowing lawns....... Call me crazy..... also, the alias jokes are really defending your position.....hope to see more.

Good job on addressing the topic at hand. The fact remains that you bail on everything. But, I do enjoy your posts about how excited you get regarding your new ventures (like the most recent one.....working as an independent contractor, mowing lawns or something of the sort).

No further questions. Your boxing idea was crap. Your software idea was crap. Thanks for playing.
