Wow. In my league, D. Williams and R. Williams were taken 5.5 and 5.6. Always choose your RBs early if you're playing in an FFtoday league.

One could argue that diversity is a prima facie good, but if we have to get it in this manner, it falls miserably short.

Oh, I definitely believe you. My Dad's 63 and gets mistaken for 50 all the time. As I said, brother is in his late 30s and gets carded for cigarettes every time. I just found the double-carding to get into my first bar a kinda amusing experience. Even more so that the waitress (I dunno, 36 C perhaps) had to convince the other folks that it needn't happen a third time.

Serious props for that, but that doesn't mean he's into intellectual inquiry or would make a good president. Personally, I think he'd be the lesser of two evils, but I still don't like him.

Based on a couple mocks I've done in the last hour or so, here's the best that you're going to be choosing from at pick 17: RBs: MJD, Grant WRs: Fitzgerald, Colston QB: Manning top 10 Rbs will be gone, top 5 WRs will be gone, Brady will be gone. Also, I have no idea how MBIII is going to fall to pick 8.

Ron Paul for VP! Yeah, no chance in hell, I know, but that's about the only choice that would incline me to vote for McCain.

If you're at 1.9 and have those guys available, you're GUARANTEED to get 2 of them (if you want them). You can't go wrong starting with two of those guys. I'd start with Barber, and pick whichever of that bunch is left at 2.02.

I agree, I'm not sure I'd expect Reggie Bush to fall that low in a PPR draft. IMO, the there's a massive dropoff after the first 8 RBs, and then a huge mess of highly questionable choices. If Bush (or another good PPR option) drops, go for it. If not, I'd just hit the two best WRs in the 2.12 and 3.1 and start your team with the #1 RB and 2 top 5 WRs. At the next turn, per FFCalculator, you should be looking at Earnest Graham, Edge, and the mess of rookies. Pick two of them, and hope one of them can give you decent to average performance (if you start 3 WRs, RB/WR may be a better option here). You have such a huge edge in RB1 and WRs 1 and 2 that all you need is mediocre performance from your RB 2.
