Injury troubles this week (my top 5 RB are Lynch, Jacobs, Chatman, Henry, S Young) Who is more likely to help me out, Droughns or the A-Train? K Smith was already taken.

Cedric and Morris...take an honest look at KCs offense and stop dreaming of the numbers Chester Taylor had last week against Oakland. Or even the numbers LJ had against Oakland (half of which came on a 54-yd run, longest of his career). http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350

Unless its a PPR league I'd go with Jamal. He's got at least as good a matchup, plus he's at home where he's had his two monster games this season. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350

Offered Fargas for Alexander....last day for trading?

I don't see much upside to Huggy Bear...the Raiders just plan suck. You'd never use him, and prob won't use SA either, but there's an outside chance he will become relevant again. I'd say no. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350 -
The whale cost me a win last week with that turd he laid so I'm prejudiced against him. He could go off against CIN but I'd go with the safer option in Edge, who always manages to have a decent game fantasy-wise. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350

My suggestion is to not worry about what *might* happen in Cleveland, and focus instead on what *will* happen in St. Louis. Schaub could have the best game of his career tomorrow...but so could Hasselbeck. And Hasselbeck's average game in the last 4 weeks is basically equal to Schaub's career best game. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350

Hackett is on fire and I'd never sit someone who's on a roll tossup between Holt and Smitty, but I'd go with Smith because of the presence of Jason David in the NO secondary http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350

The Raiders are bad, no question about it, but the Chiefs' offense is almost as bad as the Oak defense. Take away the longest run of Larry Johnson's career (54 yds) and the Chiefs ran 31 times for 72 yards against Oakland in the first meeting. The longest run of Kolby Smith's career so far is 5 yards. He will obviously get more chances on Sunday but I wouldn't be penciling him in for 100+ total. Stick with your studs, sez I. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350

1. Edwards - HOU secondary is depleted, and they haven't beaten a decent team all year 2. Andre - he's a stud, and CLE has maybe the worst secondary in the NFL 3. Smitty - two words: Jason David http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350

They will probably try and hit a deep ball or two to Javon and continue using Marshall a lot in the short and intermediate range. I've stashed Walker in several leagues but am not using him this week. My guess is he will reestablish his #1 role by week 14 and have a huge game against Houston in week 15. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350

I'm stuck with a similar decision in one of my main leagues and am going with Droughns there. If it was a PPR league I'd lean toward K Watson, but 8 catches for 55 yards wouldn't be much good in your scoring system. A season-ending injury to Rudi would do a lot of fantasy owners a lot of good (including the Rudi owners)! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303350

They have been riddled w/injuries all year but you probably expected more out of the Chicago D/ST (I sure did) I'm sticking with them this week. They are due for another TD, and Denver has said they aren't kicking away from Hester Probably the best to expect from the defense is a couple of sacks and 1 or 2 turnovers, but Denver isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut and they are probably going to be trotting out their 3rd string RB. IMO there's a pretty good chance the Bears will have a 2nd half lead and force Denver to throw, and that's not their game. CHI 23 DEN 16

I'd rank em the same way myself. Kolby Smith was awful in the preseason and the KC line hasn't got any better. I feel for the KC fans that will be subjected to a 9-6 snoozefest on Sunday.

I'd go with Evans and Branch unless you like to gamble - Cincy is playing shootouts more often than not. Walker probably has some rust to shake off. Sounds like Rashean Mathis may be sitting which helps Evans' cause, and I like the odds of Seattle throwing 40-45 times, and Branch should get his share of the targets. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303272

I'd have to go with Dayne out of that group, unless you hear before 1pm tomorrow that Selvin is getting the green light.

this is the week Ocho Cinco breaks out of his funk. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303272

Which stud has killed you the worst in 2007?
HTownSmitty replied to mrgymrat's topic in A Little Help!
Smitty hasn't been much help for me either...same is true for Tokin Travis Henry http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303272 -
If you're focusing on matchups -- MJD should run all over Buffalo.

Drop Jordan for Javon Walker or Ron Dayne?
HTownSmitty replied to MikeyNavy's topic in A Little Help!
not looking like you need any help at RB, WR or TE but assuming you have a good shot at playing in week 15...and you'd probably like to be slotting J Walker at Houston that week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303272 -
Hackett is the most likely to play four quarters and he's bee very solid of late http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303272

I agree with the others, go with Plax and Donte http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=303272

FWIW, the last two trips to STL were 30-28 and 37-31 Seattle victories with Hasselbeck totalling 5 TDs, 0 INT, and 584 yards. Anything less than 250 and 3 TDs will be a disappointment.
-
I'm not sure about Branch, but I am starting Hasselbeck with confidence in what seems likely to be a high scoring game in the dome. The new Seahawks aren't going to run the ball 32 times like they did in the first meeting, and the new Rams should be able to stay in the game so that Hass is still airing it out in the 4th quarter. Hopefully DJ Hackett is a go on Sunday, otherwise Branch will get an inordinate amount of attention.

I'd like to think that Keith was in for all the garbage time carries because he's the one they are willing to offer as a sacrifice...which would mean Addai is still their #1 dog

Gumbel: "Kenton Keith, on his busiest day as a pro" way to do your homework...or maybe that three TD game was a hallucination
