What happened to the Jacksonville defense?

Traveling across the country doesn't help either. But they did shoot themselves in the foot constantly with penalties on both sides of the ball. Still a lot of talent on defense and very opportunistic. They go for turnovers and big plays which is why they occasionally give up that big play.

What happened to the Jacksonville defense?

Let's not forget that Bortles didn't do his defense any favors early with the pick 6 and turnovers.

I think Bryant goes off this week. Patience finally pays off and he shows up when it matters most. He'll be in my lineup. That Monday game also...

Atlanta at Tampa Bay: In-Game Discussion

    Hi Freeman!
  5. Thought it was over for me after KHunts performance Saturday. I know there are other threads about Gurley and how anyone who owned him early in the season should "sell high". Thankfully I listened to my gut and stuck to my guns and am off to the championship game. Its been a pleasure owning and watching Gurley this season regardless what happens next week. Just goes to show how much impact a coach has on a team. Fisher should never be hired again... period. Anyway.. to all the other fellow Gurley owners.. grats and good luck next week!

How was that not a Giant TD?

because they are the giants... but I do agree, don't think it can be reviewed if ruled down by contact.

Cam forward lateral to C Mac - stat correction?

This is too funny, I saw that play live and have Cam, I thought the same thing too. I believe there was a stat correction like that either last year or the year before with Big Ben and Bell involved, it didn't get corrected until like Wednesday or Thursday which is really late. Completely screwed up the records because it removed Big Ben from getting the TD and the 300 yard bonus. Thankfully I don't need the correction but only won by 8 points.

    Josh Norman vs. Tyreek Hill?

Norman rarely shadows anyone instead operating in a zone where he has constant help. It allows him to run his mouth without being exposed as the overrated DB that he is.

    Andrew Luck

Picked him up off waivers last week..looks like they are targeting Week 6 and the hope is he could start practicing this week.

I may hang em up next year and this is why

If you truly enjoy football then there really is no reason for you to do this. A lot of times, FF is more stressful than it should be to people because of MONEY like anything else in life. You have to figure out how much you can afford to lose. I'm not saying it still won't be very emotional and frustrating when we lose on "crazy" plays or "luck" calls, etc. but it won't be as serious when there isn't a ton of money on the line. Some of us justify that this isn't gambling but it very much is. Yes there is some skill involved and there is also a lot of luck. You'll never know when an injury will hit or when someone doesn't play up to expectations. We see it week in and week out how underdogs win, and high scoring games end up being low scoring games, etc. Just as another poster mentioned, don't take it so seriously, set aside some cash that you CAN afford to lose and make the best decisions you can with the information you have in front of you. Win or Lose you'll know you tried your best and made what you felt were the right calls at the time. I used to play in high stakes money leagues and it was stressful all season long, I'd really get pissed when injuries happened, screamed at the TV and got pissed off when Derrick Mason kept putting up 99 yard games and missing my bonus! Now, I am in a couple of leagues, less money but much more enjoyable. You can only worry about what you can control, anything else is a waste of your time and adds undue stress in your life. Once you come to grips that you have zero control of what your players do on the field each week you'll be able to handle it much better. Take the highs with the lows, JCharles ain't going to score you 5 TD's every week so enjoy that moment and don't get as upset when he ONLY puts up 15 points some other week. Now with all that said, if this is truly impacting your "real life" where you can't focus on work, family other responsibilities than by all means, do what you feel you have to do to make sure priorities are in order.

    Splitting the Pot?

Exactly, if it's not thousands what's the point. It will be the only time you feel like crap for winning, thinking damn I could have had x amount more.

    Cousins = better than RGsuck

So with all of this said...who's rolling with Cousins in the big game next week! Although Romo put up some good FF numbers, Cousins outscored him and they are playing each other should be interesting to say the least.
