One of the things I liked about Trump's policy was he advertised it, Hard. Made it clear if you come here, and think you can bring your kid and get a free pass, you risk being separated from that kid. I have to believe some families in Guatemala heard this rhetoric and decided against making the trip. Not wanting to risk it. We need that back. We need to scare people to not want to just come here and put so much at risk.
