Hardworking Americans speaking out against Republicans
supermike80 replied to TrailGuy's topic in The Geek Club
I absolutely hate when anyone loses their job. I am in no way celebrating this bloodletting. These are real people with real bills and lives. I hate to see it honestly. I feel less bad about those that are just getting paid and milking it. And they are out there. And I am positive some people who are being let go are decent hard working people who don't deserve this. It sucks -

Fair point here. However if someone had actually said it like that, I might get behind it. You seriously are the first and only person I have seen who makes a valid point about it. The majority of the responses are emotional and stupid, and that's how I reacted to them. this point is good. You are 100% right...If someone from a completely different department asked me to document what I did for my department, I would have told him to pound sand. -
Sorry but there is literally no way I can support that the dems wanted to lose. Not in a million years.

That's kinda where I am going. I feel, and this is just my opinion, that many people decided to not vote, or even voted for Trump over Kamala, because of how bad she was. I wonder if those who truly despised Kamala would have at least voted for Biden in the hope Trump wouldn't win. Kamala was scary bad and I think a lot of people saw it and just couldn't cast a vote for her. But I'm not sure. I'm just posturing here.

Well see, Musk wants to take your 300,000 net worth and add it to his 384 billion. -
The other Tim answered for you.
-
Yeah....you knew, or believed it wasn't directed at you. So if you knew that, Why did you reply? Were you replying for Tim? Would be weird considering you told me to ask Tim, yet you seemed to have the need to reply and offer some rebuttal. Why would you do that? Do you commonly walk up to a bar where two guys are talking and offer your insight even though you know they weren't talking to you? That's weird dude. Stop being weird. Moving on now.

You saying you don't watch may be true, because few lefties watch their media anymore, judging by the ratings, but you get it from the biased media and if you say you don't, you are lying. Plain and simple. -
If you know it wasn't directed at you, why did you respond? You're literally making no sense now. Quit it

So no answer. Cool. Hurl insults and hide behind them. Fine by me. -
Well here's a thought. Since it wasn't you, stay the fock out of the thread and save your silly unhinged replies. Good idea for the future.

You're not too bright are you. Where is CNN? MSNBC? Layoffs are happening everywhere but they are only focusing on the gubbermint workers. WHY WHY WHY? please tell me why? -

You mean you wouldn't quit in protest and say "fock this place" and put your family's finances at risk? Weird. -
Yet...when the dow dropped .5% on one day. We got threads like "Dow is plunging! Cratering!" I guess you don't remember that

And...Not a single person laid off by Biden would be interviewed by the media. Not one -

If there is a federal employee that I pay for that isn't willing to send a 5 bullet email documenting his or her work, then I don't want them doing things in the gubbermint for me. I am very sure others could be found who will. -
Microsoft laid off 5% a week ago. Not one interview with an affected Microsoft employee. Are they not able to find them?
-
Oh my goodness. Why, pray tell, are they only interviewing federal employees and not Starbucks employees? Think maybe there is a hidden agenda afoot? I can't believe I have to explain this over and over
-
So you meant to say he HASN'T changed the economy. Not that he doesn't want to. Understood. Thanks for clarifying that
-
Based on what?
-
Ugh...Are you guys just slow witted or something? I have seen numerous interviews and stories about the poor federal workers laid off, but none by your beloved media for these. Why is your media only focusing on the federal jobs? Do they have some sort of agenda to do so?

Trump derangement syndrome. I used to chuckle at that concept but now I see it is very real. Willing to give up a good job and risk a lot, just to say "fock this administration" Absolutely amazing to me. -
Weird....I am willing to bet liberals running companies have laid off people. I'm not gonna look it up, but I am pretty sure that's the case. I guess at least those folks out of a job were laid off with empathy
-
How can you doubt it? What evidence do you have? You're quick to judge the federal layoffs, with absolutely no evidence, yet you can't do it here.
-
He's literally griping about political appointees being shown the door. Which is what every new administration does. But it's only bad if the other side does it. Ugh
