Inflation was going down under Biden, now it’s going back up

Im still curious why you said "tumbling" when the premarket was down 1%. Now about a half percent. 1% isnt tumbling by any reasonable persons definition. Your answer was basically "thats what the media said" And fock if that isnt just the dumbest answer ever and a clear sign you, and others, wholly rely on the media to tell you what to think

Inflation was going down under Biden, now it’s going back up

When you parrot "tumbling" for a 1% drop you are being led by the hand by the media and look foolish. Shows you aren't capable of independent thought. Scary but still shows how easily the media can influence simple minded people. 1% is NOT tumbling and certainly isn't anything to get all upset over. Yet...Here you are. Looking foolish

    Why did Donald Trump win

Trump won for a lot of reasons. But I feel the democrat party has still not fully grasped what went wrong. Yes the economy was and is important. Yes immigration was and is important. But Kamala barely spoke about these issues. The left can blame racism, misogyny, etc etc. But they have yet to admit the reality. Kamala was a bad candidate. Historically bad. The left doesn't wanna say that, because she's a black, indian female. But that's what it was. Since 2020, the left has totally and completely focused on Trump Trump Trump. The acronym "TDS" is used a lot and I believe it truly fits here. They were so utterly focused on Trump they failed to see themselves. Biden's mental decline and the lack of any real serious candidates that could challenge Trump in an election. They are still doing this by the way. The "I'm not Trump" method of trying to win an election wasn't good enough. Now it may have been if the dems were able to put up a solid candidate, but Kamala simply wasn't that person. Simply, Trump lost because Kamala was not a good candidate. Not even close. It's about as simple as that to me.

    Here come the tariffs

The question was. Do you think tariffs being levied by other countries on our products could affect american jobs. You added a whole ton of nonsense to that question
  14. supermike80

    Here come the tariffs

Thats a whole lot of added, non relevant information to answer a simple question
  15. supermike80

    Here come the tariffs

But...are you willing to say those other country tariffs could have an affect on jobs here in the US?
  16. supermike80

    Here come the tariffs

I agree. if they are at 10%, we should be at 10%. We should match whomever levies a tariff on our goods. I realize Trump is pushing it over that amount. Not sure I agree with that 100%, but matching? Absolutely

Odds to win next super bowl.

Welcome to the club buddy. Lions are in the same boat. There was an interesting comment made by a local sports guy. What's worse for the fans? The Lions, who haven't really ever made it far, losing in their first game this year(and the blown NFC championship last year) or Buffalo, who has seen the same Chiefs team make it to the SB 3 years in a row, including 2 straight head to head losses.

    Here come the tariffs

Currently, the U.S. has a 2.5% tariff on Europe’s sedan and SUV imports, while the EU charges U.S. imports at 10%

I'm starting to think the Bills are jinxed. Seriously. KC was totally beatable, and the bills blew it, again, against the Chiefs. Not the same as making the SB 4 straight times and losing, but it still stings. I like the bills a lot and would love to see them play my Lions in the SB, but man they just can't seem to get over the hump.

Vikings have a QB controversy. That doesn't always bode well for the season

    Trump vs the Judges

Part of the discussion right? Kinda my point. Try to keep up. You have an opinion, cool. The other side has a different opinion.

    Here come the tariffs

This is a big part of my complaint. The world has leaned on us, taken advantage of us at almost every turn. Yeah, we can tariff America. They won't do anything about it. They are the great big America! Play by the same rules is all I ask. You slap tariffs on us, we should be allowed to reciprocate. It's fair and right.

    Trump vs the Judges

Honestly this is kinda interesting to me. To see how this plays out. There are legit arguments on both sides. This truly is a battle of the checks and balances. If you enjoy democracy and how our gubbermint is set up, this is compelling

    Here come the tariffs

Well...You are assuming, of course, that all the world's tariffs stay in place. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Let's not for a minute think the world craves and in many cases needs the USA as a place to market their products. If the world wants to market here to keep their business afloat they have three choices. 1) Do nothing and take the chance and have to compete against countries with no tariffs on price. 2) Put pressure on their local governments to drop or lower their tariffs or 3) Drop their prices 10% to offset the tariff costs. I for one am willing to pay a little more to support retaliatory tariffs. I think it's important. You keep talking about free trade free trade, but only the US. You seem like you don't care about other countries levying them on us. We will never ever get to a free trade situation if one country can levy them with no repercussions.

    Here come the tariffs

I absolutely 100% believe that retaliatory tariffs against those that levy tariffs against us is the right move. We stand around like dopes while the rest of the frickin world protects their own and the minute we try to do the same thing, we get labeled as the bad guys.
