    Pats vs Colts 12/4

FOX and CBS can keep one of their games from being flexed. So FOX will likely keep GB @ NYG in the 4:15 PM slot. I see NBC choosing one of these 2: KC @ CHI DET @ NO CIN @ PIT is unlikely because NBC has PIT @ KC on 11/27. I Don't think NBC would have the same team on back to back Sunday night games.

What do you Think? 12 Team Standard Roster

That team looks pretty darn good for a 12-teamer. I have only 1 suggestion: Drop Succop and look for a backup TE. Hanson is the better kicker. If Bradford is able to play in week 11 (Ben's bye), you're set at QB.

    How many of you

Ah yeah, the good old days before the bye weeks, only 5 teams from each conference making the playoffs, no salary caps, and before free agency as we now know it today. It was 1990 when the playoffs were expanded from 5 teams to 6 in each conference and when the bye weeks began, except for 1993, where each team had 2 bye weeks.

All 3 starting LBs out for the Steelers..vs. the Ravens

The Steelers might get Worilds back this week, but still won't have Woodley, Farrior, and Harrison back until after the bye week, which would be the Nov. 27th game at KC. With Worilds back, Timmons should be able to move back to the inside LB position. Worst case scenario would be that Pit changes to a 4-3 or use the 3-3-5 nickel. The next two games before the bye are against division rivals Baltimore and Cincinnati.

    Heath Miller

After a slow start, Heath Miller has become an important part of the Steelers passing game. In the NE game, he seems to be the one that benefited the most in Ward's absence as a possession receiver. If you don't have one of the stud TEs such as Graham, Witten, V. Davis, F. Davis, Gonzalez, etc, would you consider him a top 10 TE the rest of the way?

How about the Suck for Luck Cancel Out Theory

St. Louis doesn't need Luck. They're counting on Bradford to be their future QB. St. Louis has to look at other players besides QB. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Arizona gets that first pick. That trade for Kolb isn't working out so well now.

Mike Tomlin and his coaching staff

Ike Taylor did a great job on Welker. Ike was one of the most under rated CBs, and now people are starting to realize how good he is. The pressure up front on Brady also helped. The fact that the Steelers were missing Harrison and Farrior shows the depth of their LBs. Ravens are up next. They'll want to make up for that terrible game in week 1. Hope they can get Woodley and Farrior back for this one.

    Mendenhall going forward..

The problem fantasy wise is not with Mendy. It's the way the Steelers are becoming a passing offense. Mendy's doing fine with the limited carries he's getting. You rarely see Mendy in 3rd down and medium to long situations. Mendy's not a bad receiver out of the backfield, but they usually have M Moore in there on 3rd downs. I know Mendy's becoming a real pain in fantasy football, but he's still an important piece of the Steelers offense.

    CBS scoring and Brady fumble

Not sure if you'll get negative points for Bardy on that fumble. Technically, the fumble was never recovered by the defender, so it may not be considered a lost fumble, since it went out of the endzone, resulting in a safety for the Steelers defense. Had the fumble been recovered for a TD, then Brady would be charged with a lost fumble.

    Steven Jackson

The Rams need to play the rest of the season in those throwback unis.

    who has the hot hand

Ike Taylor William Gay Ryan Clark Troy Polamalu LaMar Woodley Lawrence Timmons Those are just 6 of the guys that Brady should be aware off. I'm a little surprised that Belichick hasn't cut that bum Ochocinco yet. Ochocinco should have been cut instead of Leigh Bodden.

    DeMarco Murray

We all seen D Murray rush for over 250 yds last week. He's currently playing in place of an injured Felix Jones. How will he do the rest of the season?

    Traded Rivers

If that league votes on trades or the commish has veto power, I expect that deal would be vetoed big time.

    True Studs this year.

I would add Andre Johnson to that list when healthy, although he missed 3 games. He may return this week or next week. Swapping Eli Manning for Roethlisberber was a huge mistake. Look at the last 3 games for Ben, he has 9 TD passes to one pick. I hope it's Fred Jackson you're refering to instead of S Jackson. Fred Jackson plays for a cold-weather team in Buffalo, so the cold and snow in Buffalo won't be a problem for him.

    Commish Question

It's not uncommon for someone to accidentally drop the wrong player. In my leagues, that's why any recently dropped player has to go thruogh a 24-hour waiver process. There is also a rule that if one accidentally drops a wrong player that they contact the commish ASAP to correct the inadvertent error. Of course, if it looks like an obvious mistake to me, I'll try to contact the owner to verify it if he hasn't already contacted me.
  16. My FU is to the refs in the PIT/AZ game. If any of you saw that safety in the PIT/AZ game, to me, it appeared that Woodley had grasp and control of Kobb in the end zone. Kobb was practically on the ground when he threw the ball. Then later in the game, the refs called Ben sacked based on grasp and control while Ben was still running when he made the throw. The safety was a result of an intentional grounding call in the end zone, in which Wooldey was not given credit for either the sack or safety. I could have had 6 more points for Woodley. (2 pts for a sack, and 4 pts for a safety) I'm only up 12 points in this IDP league where my opponent only has Cundiff to go tonight. Oh well, that's my only FU this week.

    if 2 teams go 0 - 16, who gets the 1st pick?

Way before these rules were put in place, Pittsburgh won a coin flip over Chicago for the first pick in the 1970 draft. That pick was Terry Bradshaw.

    if 2 teams go 0 - 16, who gets the 1st pick?

This from nfl.com: ============================================================== TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURE FOR SELECTION MEETING Clubs not participating in the playoffs shall select in the first through 20th positions in reverse standings order. The Super Bowl winner is last and Super Bowl loser is next-to-last. The losers of the Conference Championship games shall select 29th and 30th based on won-lost-tied percentage. The losers of the Divisional playoff games shall select 25th through 28th based on won-lost-tied percentage. The losers of the Wild Card games shall select 21st through 24th based on won-lost-tied percentage. If ties exist in any grouping except (2) above, such ties shall be broken by strength-of-schedule. If any ties cannot be broken by strength-of-schedule, the divisional or conference tie-breakers, if applicable, shall be applied. Any ties that still exist shall be broken by a coin flip. ============================================================================================================ Basically, if you do have 2 teams tied at 0-16, and tie on the strength of schedule tiebreaker, the first pick would be determined by a coin flip, as both teams would also tie in all conference and division tiebreakers. However, The only team that I could see going 0-16 would be Miami. St. Louis still has several games within its own division with AZ, SEA, and SF. Same with Indy, as they still have 2 games vs. JAX and TEN

With all the RB injuries this week..

In my leagues, 1 12-team and 1 14-team, RB pickings are slim to none. In my 12-team league, the best available RBs are Mccluster, L. Washington, and Forseth. Slim pickings for sure. Lumpkin is available in both those leagues, but I'll never get him as I'm near near the end of the waiver wire pick list. Downside with Lumpkin is that he's on a bye this coming week and depending on the status of Blount in week 9, Lumpkin could be an iffy pick if you're relying on him to start.

    Antonio Brown

Today was a decent day for Antonio Brown with 7 catches for 102 yards, but still hasn't had a TD reception this season. He got most of those in the 2nd half with Ward being out. I'm still not quite certain if Ward will be healthy enough to play against NE next week. If Ward isn't able to go, I think this makes Brown a possible sleeper pick. I see this game as a potential shootout between Big Ben and Brady.

    M Lynch hurt during warmup

By the time I knew about it, I was not able to get him out of my starting lineup, although my remaining options were Hardesty or Redman.

    cj spiller

This could be an interesting scenario in some leagues. If this does happen, is Spiller considered a RB or WR/TE? If your league allows for a flex position, it may not really matter much, but if your league service, such as Yahoo or ESPN decide to change him to a WR/TE and your league doesn't use a flex player, then there's a potential for some interesting arguments.

    Oakland Fake FG pass

It is a play from scrimmage. There was never a change of possession during the play. Therefore, it is a score by the offense on a 4th down play. So if you play in a league that uses team D/ST, you do not give points to the OAK D/ST because the TD was scored by the offense on a 4th down play from scrimmage. You would however charge the points and yardage against the CLE D/ST. The only types of plays not run from scrimmage are kickoffs and free kicks I play in a IDP league that uses a punter. In that league, my opponent had Lechter as his punter. Lechter got credit for the TD pass (6 pts.) and the passing yardage and Boss would have gotten credit for the TD reception and yards. I did beat my opponent by 12 points.

    Mendy Top 10-12 RB ROY

If the other owner accepts the offer, go for it. If you look at the remainder of the Steelers schedule, they have very good matchups, except for maybe the rematch with Baltimore in week nine. Not counting week 17, they have 2 games vs Cincy, KC. If you make the fantasy playoffs, then the opponents are CLE, @SF, and StL

    Week 7 D/St

I like DEN from the three you mentioned, but I would stick with Da Bears this week.
