  1. Ok well I appreciate all the replies. Guess we will try the draft board this year. Just hard to let go of my old ways. I always liked the fact that I personally was tracking the draft and watching what positions other teams had filled and what they hadn't. It allowed me to strategize a bit more at the draft compared to those owners who simply were only tracking their own picks. But I guess part of being commish is listening to what the majority of owners want.
  2. I have been running a league for over 10 years and we have never used a draft board at our drafts. Personally I like for everyone to track the draft on their own with paper and pen or an excel spreadsheet. And if you are too lazy to track the draft other than your own team then that is better for me and the other owners who are paying attention. Well this year about half my league is new owners and they are requesting we use a draft board. I am still against it but I would like to hear other's thoughts on the subject. Thanks
  3. I have been running a 10 team non ppr league for several years and we have always used a traditional lineup: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. Some owners of the league think it would be fun to switch to a flex lineup. Just wondering what people here prefer traditional or flex lineups? Also what is the make of your lineup? For example is it: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, and 1 RB/WR/TE? Or 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF and 1 RB/WR/TE. Or maybe 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 K, 1 DEF and 1 WR/TE? My biggest fear with having the possiblity being able to flex in a third RB might make the RB position way more valuable than it already is.

    Championship Controversy

Let it stand. I mean if your are in the championship and you didn't take the time to double check your lineup one last time then you deserve what you get. Especially in the last hour before kickoff when he is doing an add and drop scramble to his lineup.
  5. I have been offered Randy Moss for Peyton Hillis and Brandon Marshall. Should I do it? My team Drew Brees Brandon Marshall Andre Johnson Brandon Lloyd Pierre Garcon Darren McFadden Peyton Hillis Jonathan Stewart Jamaal Charles Ryan Torain Michael Bush Vernon Davis Rob Bironas New York Jets D Cincy D His team: Tony Romo Randy Moss Greg Jennings Malcolm Floyd Mark Clayton Devin Hester Steven Jackson Ahmad Bradshaw Willis McGahee BenJarvus Green Ellis Jermichael Finley Tony Moeaki Lawrence Tynes St Louis D Pitt D

    (((((CHAMPIONS THREAD))))))

Well I was about to post my lineup at halftime cause AD only had 3 points and I still had a 28 pt lead going into second half. Had some really nervous moments there late but Cutler put an end to the Vikes and AD's night. So I am about to crack a beer open and celebrate back to back Championship seasons! Championship Lineup: Romo CJ and Ray Rice DJax and Meachem Finley Graham Saints D

    Chris Johnson.........anyone scared?

Here is CJ the last 6 weeks: @ Chicago 8 rush yds 1 tds @ Jax 64 rush yds 0 tds NYJ 46 rush yds 0 tds @ Detroit 125 rush yds 2 tds Cleveland 136 rush yds 1 td @ Houston 65 rush yds 0 tds Hey I have been a huge CJ fan all season since I drafted him. But Pitt is not Detroit or Cleveland. This is going to be a hard fought defensive game. If anything Tenn will be on long grind it out drives and when they work themselves finally inside the 10 you know the Whale is coming in to steal the td. CJ has to him long runs to score and I don't see that happening against Pitt. Now if you forsee that you can win your championship with 6, 7, maybe 8 yardage points from CJ then roll with him. As for me I will start Pierre @ Lions.

    Have fun with that.

    Heck Yeah Championship Game Bound!

I was slightly worried. I was up 22 going into tonight. My opponent has Westy and I have McNabb. Figured it would take McNabb's stick to get snapped for me to lose but still worried me a bit. What is even better is on the other side of the bracket. I am the 2 seed and I beat the 3 seed. On the other side the 1 seed got upset by the 4 seed so hopefully that works out for me.

    Chris Johnson.........anyone scared?

Yes so worried that I won't be starting him. Oh not to mention my starting D is Pitt so another reason I can't start him. Check out my rbs for next week: CJ vs Pitt DeAngelo @ Giants MB3 vs Ravens I saw this coming about 4 weeks ago so I traded for Maurice Jones-Drew since he is facing the Colts and I grabbed Pierre Thomas off waivers sometime back for his matchup against the Lions this week. Kinda funny that I am going to start two rbs in my championship game that I have never started yet.
  15. Congrats to all those who are making to their respective championship games or wrapped up your championship game. Here is my advice to you at this point....go with your gut on who to start. You made it this far so you must know your team pretty well. I heard lots of people all week calling Cutler a better start than McNabb. Because Denver has no rbs so they will have to pass and Carolina will be putting up points so Denver will have to pass to stay in the game......blah blah blah. Well I went with McNabb and boom I am in my championship game. Once again congrats to everyone!
