ok.. so my team decided to fold this week... waddle, gadsen, warren did nothing... for the night game i can choose between Gibbs and Barkley.. which way do i roll? who has the higher ceiling I need 20pts+ to even have a prayer in .5ppr. I am leaning Barkley -- since he doesnt share carries and the Det D is beatable... vs Gibbs sharing + better eagles D thoughts?

I am in I am in the same and actually have a similar team. 3 teams left QB: Stafford, RB: Gibbs, Barkley, j Taylor, achane, brece hall, waren WR: Adams, JSN, diggs, waddle, j williams TE: Klecey Jefferson is on waivers... all teams are really good. My biggest quest this week is choosing a flex between Taylor vs KC or.. Diggs or Breece Hall. I am leaning Taylor.. but KC D scares me.

The difference is that you can easily find a TE in rd 8+ that has similar production to Bowers (if bowers is not lights out every game liek this year) you're not finding a rb1 or wr1 after the 8th rd.. (not counting backups for injured players)

We are looking at overall production (including injuries) result.. Anyone who drafted Bowers in the 2nd is hurting. It was also at a cost of a wr1 or a RB1. If you took Kittle in the 4th.. sure its not optimal but your other options were RB3/wr4s so not a huge loss. PLus when he is on the field he scores like TE1. Bowers had one big game.. and now seems to share the field with 2 other good TEs. I picked up Ertz and Kraft off of waivers.. Ertz had decent production overall way above his ADP and Kraft was killing it before he got knocked out for the year. While it sucked to lose him, it wasnt a big deal because he was free.. and i found another TE (J JOhnson) who produces.

just for fun.. this is a good time to look at how TEs are doing overall this year and see which strategy might have paid off. Out of the consensus top 3.. only Mcbride has validated his value. I survived!.. somehow. I ended up rolling with Gibbs and that saved my @ss. Won by 3 pts because Bowers and Jeanty got the other player combined 14points. We are down to 3 teams now. I had tough matchups week 11 but this week should be easier. This is my first year and I love it! no matter how unlucky you get with injuries or even draft, you can rebuild your team every week, unlike a regular fantasy league. I've been playing ffball for 25y+ so being a football fan helps make the right decisions as to FAs .. and fa budgets. I budgeted well and now have a pretty solid team

Mcafrey is not an NFL starter level WR.. dont be fooled by his one catch/ 1TD game..

Comanders should give him a call.. he cant be worse than the joke of a WR corps they trot out.

I am rolling with him .. was doing ok with Jawan Johnson.. but now with Hill back, Barner is the much better play imo.

I agree with everyone else.. this sounds like a mistake and the commish acted appropriately. You left a lot pertinent info out, like: was the owner that dropped him an experienced player? how big are your benches Did the team have an available IR spot etc

My first time in a suicide league and dont see many discussions on this, so thought I'd start one.. FAB budgets are 1000 So i just barely survived last week losing Nabors and Hill in one week.. that hurt. options include: Jamar Chase K Allen Pittman Slayton J Jennings How much are you bidding considering its just wk5... and what is the general strategy when you get the inj bug to your key players early.. all in?

Thats exactly what i did... i got both Allen for 115 and Pittman for 87 and Slayton for good measure.. it worked out since i think i can easily replace the production i lost with those 2

White sucks though... if he starts.. i doubt he's even worth a roster spot

every league is different... and yes i read also that you want to save your budget.. which makes sense.. but at least in my league one person bid 600 on Henry last week... which i thought was nuts. i bet he is regretting that call. i doubt you get Gibbs at 181..... winner will have to pony up 300+

In my suicide league i lost both Hill and Nabors this week... and still didnt lose. stop your crying.

... and now that he is out for a few weeks at least due to his hold out and being on the older side... thats why he was a DND for me. Sucks for Wash.. but good if you're Debo owner (which i am )
