It's almost a guarantee one of your starting RBs will go down for at least a couple games. I've noticed every time I've placed in the money over the last 10 years I've taken 3 RBs my first 3 picks. There really is no substitute for RB depth. In a PPR I would be ecstatic if I could land Slaton @ 1.11, Westbrook @ 2.2, and Reggie Bush @ 3.11

I'm not a huge fan of PT @ 1.12 but selections like this are what make the draft exciting and unpredictable. A bold selection of PT @ 1.12 could stir up other owners to make some bold selections, especially if they really want a certain player. Your pick is going to force them to think "If I really want *insert their targeted player* I better jump on him early", which will result in players dropping out of their normal ADP. You basically set the tone of the draft with a pick like that.

That is not true.

All it will take is Reggie to take one short dump for 60 yards in a pre season game and he'll be a 2nd round ppr pick. It's just too early right now...

Anger and resentment from the past that knocks stud guys down in the drafts

MJD is a guy that previous owners never want to touch. His end of the year #s have always been solid, but fickle owners would tend to bench him after a dud and lose out on his monster weeks. This year is a different story I suppose, since they got rid of Taylor... but I bet deep down there's a few guys in my league who still want nothing to do with him. Romo is a guy I never want on my team again. I had an important game won last year but then he went and chucked up 3 interceptions..he's a fraud. -
Portis (no, he won't be there in the 2nd) ...or Gore.

12-team, redraft, PPR $200

I think CBS banks on users being set in their ways...I would bet the demographic that uses and pays for the CBS site are a little older than the crowds that use the free services on Yahoo and ESPN. Older crowds are typically not as tech savvy and are less likely to be open to change - if it ain't broke don't fix it. So, more or less they're taking advantage of the the older crowds. We're talking about millions and millions in revenue for a media conglomerate, they did their research and I'm sure their data suggests enough people will indeed pay the increased fee.

If Brady looks good during preseason I have no doubt that Moss will be the 1st receiver taken in my PPR...end of the 1st. It's just toooooo hard to ignore his ceiling. I think Calvin is the obvious 4th best out of the players listed, and the other two are a wash...you can't really go wrong.

Umm Darren McFadden?

I just looked at my stat page on CBS Sportsline and can't find either of those exact states.. players close to those are Anthony Gonzalez and DeSean Jackson

Difference between the 2? Ha. CJ seemed to get very little pre season media attention last year, but the boards were going nuts over the guy. He was on my radar, and figured he'd be around late (into the teen rounds on an idp)... then someone jumped on him in the 9th round of my 12 team IDP. He would end up being the steal of the draft. I think guys like Wells and Moreno have too much name recognition, and are on pretty much everyone's radar. What about Don Brown for the Colts? Could he be a guy that could step up and be solid? Or how about the receiver the Raiders picked up - Heyward-Bey? He could get a lot of balls thrown his way, if the Raiders offense can stay on the field.

Is there a stud the message boards love this year, or is it a little too early for such a prediction? I can't remember when the CJ love started last year...preseason week 1 he burned one for 66 yards, but I vaguely remember the hype being there before that game.

He certainly saved me for a few games after Brady went down..then he broke my heart when he went down. I wish him well though, I don't see why he can't flourish in Denver. Good value.
