  1. Personally, I like a drier white. And a lot of it in the mussel broth, but that's just me.

Barkley could use a little less dancing around when the situation calls for it. He nearly got nailed for a safety when he was trying to jump--cut at the goal line coming out of the endzone.

Both true. Especially the behind the line of scrimmage stuff. Biggest knock on Saquon will be the tendency to swing for the fences. If he can just reel it in a touch and learn to take what's there he's going to have a long productive career. In terms of fantasy, as long as Shurmur doesn't penalize him for those larger losses he can dance all he wants if he's finding homeruns on a regular basis. But it will wear thin with HC if he's turning 2 yard gains into 4 yard losses trying to reverse the field on a regular basis. He'll figure it out.

  2. If we're dissecting mussels:Riesling, butter, garlic and shallots. Let's do it the right way.

If we're dissecting Barkley: hurdles, high-speed deep run with tackles broken, top defense made to look slow. Great first game, only going to get better.

  3. True, but at the draft the chorus was screaming take Chubb, how could they pass on him. So even as the top corner it was underrated.

Exactly, this was gist of post. Chubb was consensus first pick that was not a QB or Saquon. Cool to hear that Ward balled out like that.

  4. Jimmy G should improve, Minnesota is tough.

I also have both, started Mahomes thankfully

I watched both games, Minny has a top 3 defense but I still thought mahomes looked a fair bit better than Jimmy G. Kittle didn't help Jimmy with a few drops tho. Hill was landing on his head helping out mahomes. Both QBs have some serious arm talent. The TD to pettis was basically a flick of the wrist. Nice combo to have this year man!

  5. I honestly did not think Mahomes was going to do what he did yesterday. Bosa didn't play but that SD D is still quite the test without him. Thought he looked really really great. You guys that were touting him were right for sure. He can drop them into shoeboxes down the field and also has a good zip on intermediate throws. The tandem of Hill and Mahomes is going to be elevate Hill a bit kore than even I had him pegged for if he keeps this up. Fun game to watch.

  6. Did Ward play much for Brown's and if so how did he show? 3 picks that game, defense fared well in fantasy.

Did Chubb get some rush snaps? How was it him paired with Miller chasing down Wilson?

Didn't see either game, hoping those who did saw if either flashed.

Not super fantasy relevant outside of IDP keepers, but I'm curious from the Brown's passing on Chubb perspective.

In other news Mike Hughes looked unreal for the vikings. Pleasantly surprised after waynes had taken forever to become somewhat reliable.

  7. I give Bell a lot of credit for holding out for what he believe in. People in society often succumb to pressure.

Here's hoping Steeler go 2-8 during the 10 game holdout.

This would focking rule. What record leads to them folding like a garage sale poker table and giving him whatever he wants?

Everyone getting bunched ginchies over the shortcomings of a capitalist society's entertainment industry and defending the 1%, you guys should try seeing the forest for the trees. Fock the steelers, and fock bell since I don't own him.

  8. For the record I see Barkley, Royce and maybe Kerryon ahead of Sony this year. Next year Barkley, Chubb, Penny, Sony and Royce will all vie for top ten rb status.

You don't think Kerryon will continue to build/hold value next year? What about Guice next season?

  9. I think that's all bull shlt. Tyreek Hill isn't a superb route runner, yet he puts up great numbers. Dont need him to run a precise route. Nothing in the NFL says that if you play the WR position you need to be a super route runner. It's so dumb how people use that as an excuse.

Well we could have just handed him the ball 7 times a game and gave him a few simple routes to get the ball in his hands in space, but then we remember he has a WR next to his name which means he has to be a super route runner... Makes no sense

Oh the Minnesota version of Patterson was as much about Zimmer and his OCs demanding crisp routes and refusing to design plays for him than him not having the talent. He's not a burner like Tyreek but he has the same vision in terms of seeing seams before they're there with the ball in his hands. As long as Belichek is willing to scheme around his shirt comings, which he's obviously going to as Patterson is still on the roster, I think there's a lot of potential. Especially first few weeks with Edelman out.

  10. The fact Patterson hasn't been cut is what intrigues me most. He couldn't run a route to save his life in Minny, don't think he could in Oakland either. The pats are the MOST demanding team for crisp routes IMO. So something is up there. Patterson has been basically a gadget or return guy up til now, going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
