I am in a couple free leagues this year, like most years. I know I am always going to run into a few dummies playing free leagues, but I was shocked, shocked I tells ya at what almost went down. This thread is meant to help avoid creating a hostile league environment, but let us vent. I joined a league tagged, for serious players only, hoping to get a good free league experience. Last week I got a trade notification, the guy who has Zeke Elliot had agreed to receive Lev Bell in exchange for Ronald Jones II and Patrick Mahomes. WHAT??? With hours left before the trade went through, only one other player had objected. I quickly posted a league wide message and luckily the 4 objections needed came in, but only 4. You would think in a 12 team league full of serious players, 10 objections would have come in. Really 11, but the guy giving up Bell is either 10 years old or just an Idiot. Crazy though, both players seemed shocked someone would try to block their trade. I mean this has to be the same guy with two teams trying to stack one, right? What kind of a-hole does that in a free league? Maybe you have a similar story, or you have one of those guys that won't stop sending insultingly lopsided trades or whatever. Please offer your thoughts on my league and/or share a story of your own. Mike D
