yes, it is a bogus trade, but as I have $71 to spend on only 2 players for next year, it's not that far out that it very well could have been a real trade. If this

was a real trade, how would you all feel about having to compete against a team that could outbid you by 25% on every player you want? I just wanted to get everyone

to think about allowing trades involving future cap money a little more. What do you all think?

I agree with your point Chandler....

 

Next year's cap room should be left alone. There are too many caveats to allowing someone to trade off next year's cap $$$.

 

What happens if the person "giving up" next year's money decides not to partake? Then what?

 

What happens if someone decides to tank this year and give off all of their great players....in exchange for $300 of bidding power next year?

 

Too many problems. Let's keep the current year's transactions in the current year.
