The Chandler 0 Posted November 3, 2002 well, i dont think its right, but if it is, im going to take full advantage of it, I get my RB and the gators get $50 more cap money than anyone else for next year
cbutler 0 Posted November 3, 2002 THIS IS A BOGUS TRADE. WE DID NOT AGREE TO IT. Pretty funny Chandler
The Chandler 0 Posted November 3, 2002 yes, it is a bogus trade, but as I have $71 to spend on only 2 players for next year, it's not that far out that it very well could have been a real trade. If this was a real trade, how would you all feel about having to compete against a team that could outbid you by 25% on every player you want? I just wanted to get everyone to think about allowing trades involving future cap money a little more. What do you all think? Â Apologies to Corey and Bryan
ceo1000 0 Posted November 3, 2002 I agree with your point Chandler.... Â Next year's cap room should be left alone. There are too many caveats to allowing someone to trade off next year's cap $$$. Â What happens if the person "giving up" next year's money decides not to partake? Then what? Â What happens if someone decides to tank this year and give off all of their great players....in exchange for $300 of bidding power next year? Â Too many problems. Let's keep the current year's transactions in the current year. Â OUT!!!!!!!
Buda 0 Posted November 3, 2002 Right CEO! Â I've been saying it since all this sheet started. Â NO FUTURE CAP ROOM DEALS! Â Jerry
