Griffin School Basketball 1-0 going for 2-0 tonight

That is right, the high school team I coach is 1-0 and going for 2-0 tonight. After going 0-15 or whatever last year, we are undefeated. It is amazing what a turnaround their coach has done. That Martin Tyson is destined for the Basketball Hall of Fame!

Unfortunately, my team play like a bunch of Hanks tonight and we got run 54 to 40. They pressed us the whole game because we only have 6 players and 1 ball handler. We hung in there for a while and were down by 5 at half. I had 2 foul out and we finished the game 5 on 4. The old Bob Pels 2-2 zone was really effective after that.

Griffin School suffered a tough loss today. We were down 1 pt at half and 2 pts going into the 4th. I had 1 guy foul out and another with 4 fouls and a total of 6 players. Now we are in the losers bracket for the rest of the tournament and the best we can do is 5th. I feel like a team in division 1. :eek:
