seattle 0 Posted August 8, 2002 i don't know who is the bigger geek, you for putting this together or the rest of us for using it! it really is an incredible amount of work you have done. thanks for all the effort here is my question, does the compiler take into account the depth chart at all? if it turns out that drew brees beats out doug flutie for the starting qb job in san diego does thsi change the ratings at all? Mike MacGregor 20 Posted August 9, 2002 Thanks! I think we're about equal on the geek scale, I just get less sleep... About the depth charts, no, they are independent from the projections which drive the player rankings. I just like to use the depth chart later in the draft to see if any players are in a good situation (i.e. # 1 WR on team) but have been overlooked.
zippychi 0 Posted August 10, 2002 The really cool part about the depth chart is that as players are selected they are removed from it also. This way it is super easy to see when someone has been overlooked.
