Pauli 0 Posted July 30, 2002 There doesn't apprear to be a filed to change the allocation setting. I want to select 2001 stats as the basis for VBD...but it seems like the default is set to the FFToday predictions??? Am I reading this incorrectly?
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 31, 2002 Hi Pauli. You are reading it right in that the FF Today projections are default (key 7). The allocation key can be found on each of the position tabs, in the yellow column with heading '% Key' (about the 6th or 7th column from the left). The key is player specific, so you'll need to change every 7 to, for example, 2 if you want 100% 2001 stats. Just change the top one on each position tab and copy down for all players. Now, when you do this I know the first thing you're going to ask is why is Ed McCaffrey the #1 WR when he only played one game last year. When the Compiler calculates projected 2002 stats based on prior year stats, it extrapolates results based on number of games played. Kind of like using points per game data. TO avoid this, just copy the Games column data under 2001 stats into the yellow Games column just to the left of the allocation key. That will give you actual 2001 results.
