g.com 0 Posted July 30, 2003 I know you are working hard with everything you do and I thank you for everything. But I need to know if there is any way you can explain how to add more rankings. I know you plan to add more rankings with the next version, but I am worried that it will not be in time for my draft. I am pretty savy with Excel, so I figure it will not be that hard to follow your instructions. Hope I am not asking for too much.
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 30, 2003 Hey g. Here was a suggestion from Todd in a prior thread: What I did was compile my cheatsheets. I saved it. Then I reopened it, and saved it under a new name like Draft2.xls. In my second compiler, I went in a deleted every player row that made list one. It was really easy since they are listed in order on the pos tabs. I then ran the compiler again. On Mike's suggestion, I altered the league variables section to reflect the change in baseline. QB RB WR TE K 0.5 0.5 2 0 1 0 DL LB DB Total 2 2 2 11 ( I hope that comes out right, but you get the idea, play around with the starters and backup #'s until it fits your needs. ) Anyway the bottom line is that it works pretty well. The value numbers will be screwed up, but they'll be ranked somewhat reasonably. Let's face it, when you get into the 140-280 range, what do you expect...And *always* use your head. No sense in taking Alge Crumpler over Lavernues Coles when you need a receiver.. Hope that helps.
