Elliot1211 0 Posted August 28, 2002 Mike -- Just wanted to say thanks for this great software and all the tech support..Your instructions on how to input other projections with VBLOOKUP were clear and easy to follow. I had two other sites' projections in the compiler within an hour. Then I used the Draft Buddy for my draft last night and I have to say it worked like a charm. I was nervous about something going wrong -- like Excel freezing or my computer crashing or some other glitch -- but it was a breeze. And the ability to see all the different views of the draft on the fly, really gave me an edge. While other players were searching their lists to cross off picked players, I had it all under control and was able to make intelligent decisions without feeling under the gun. The result: I think I had my best draft ever. So thank you for all your work on this. I used Buddy in a live draft last week and really loved it with all the updating and knocking players off my sheets. Now I'm half-dreading a draft tonight where I can't use Buddy because no laptop (used the wife's earlier, she's out of town) No tool is ever going to replace proper research, strategy and good judgement, but I think Buddy does make a difference in helping organize, speed up tasks and ease stress to make more clear and better decisions. Funny because when I was working on Buddy originally I never thought anyone would use it in a live draft. Just figured it would be a neat tool to eliminate paper in an online draft.
