OD99 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Every time I watch a bit of a Browns game I see The Reuben running hard and generally looking pretty good - he receives fairly well, and is a good blocker too. Dilfer on the other hand...he looked God awful yesterday and seems to rob the Browns of any chance of being consistent. If The Reuben can't get into the endzone next week against the Texans, then I don't see the Browns scoring on the ground all season.
OD99 0 Posted October 24, 2005 You mean to tell me that I am the only one in all of FF to have The Reuben on my team? I always thought everyone here was joking (read: lying) about having Edge/SA/Portis/LT2 as their stable of backs... I guess I really need to get into more 4-5 man leagues...these 14 teamers don't exist anywhere else... I am just looking for some other insight. I have SA/Caddy as my main guys and I have been frustrated by the lack of scoring with Reuben.
hokieboy25 0 Posted October 24, 2005 I have Reuben as my #3 RB and I am thinking about starting him next week vs the Texans.
murf74 461 Posted October 24, 2005 The entire team can't score. But if there is ever a week he will score it is vs. Texans
FantasyChick 0 Posted October 24, 2005 I actually traded for him last week along with Warrick Dunn and gave away Ahman Green , Tony Fisher, Deion Branch and Jason Witten. I have decent WR's to replace Branch and have Stevens and David Martin to backup Witten so it was a no brainer. I had already lost Deuce so couldn't stand to have Green/Fisher as my only backup to go along with Fred Taylor. Now Green is out for the year probably so it was a great trade! I saw a lot of hard runs in Reuben against the Ravens and figured he would be strong here on out. Romeo vowed to run the ball more too as we saw against the Lions. I think he finds the end zone multiple time against the Texans. I see him finishing strong as the Browns run the ball more.
OD99 0 Posted October 24, 2005 You couldn't have made that trade at a better time! He had a really tough schedule the first 6 weeks but goes against some easier competition the next few...bad sched to finish the season though so I wouldn't bank on him then. Sapronos04 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Droughns Ran the ball all the way down the field. Over 7 yards a carry. They get to the 5 and try to pass the ball. Dilfer is all but done. If Droughns gets 25 carries they would win.. This week he will run all over the texans but if Dilfer is in there he will pass in the redzone. Didnt they get a smarter coach in Cle. Davis isnt looking so dumb to me...
Liberals are Clueless 0 Posted October 24, 2005 I need him for weeks 9 and 10 with LT and McGahee on bye. He can score his TDs then.

I don't know if I have seen the Browns run it two straight times all year... Very confusing because Crennel is a good football mind...
FantasyChick 0 Posted October 24, 2005 They should just run the ball more (in the End Zone too) and I think they will after they review what happened last week.
