EAwer 1 Posted October 25, 2005 If you have both these guys on your roster, would you start both this week against the 49ers?
fastfish 0 Posted October 25, 2005 I started Portis/Betts last week vs. 9er's and it worked out with Caddy gimpy, Pittman will see action early and then more once the game is in hand for TB....maybe like the whole 2nd half
clh2112 0 Posted October 25, 2005 I am. I expect Cadillac to get one TD then get benched, so I don't expect much. However, I don't really have much of a choice, since my other RBs are Alexander (bye) and J Jones (inj).
Da Judge 2 Posted October 25, 2005 I think Pittman is a very solid play this week. Big lead, no reason to beat up their "stud", etc. He could get 20 carries.

I dont know if the Bucs can get a big lead, even against the Niners. Their QB is out remember.

I know that Pittman will be in my starting lineup this week. He should shred that craptastic 49er defense.
ROCKET 0 Posted October 25, 2005 I have both of them along with Dom D, Pass and LJ. I hate roster decisions
fastfish 0 Posted October 25, 2005 ya may not wanna start The Caddy after all Buccaneers | Williams' Injury Requires Rest, Patience Published Tue Oct 25 6:35:00 p.m. ET 2005(KFFL) Stephen F. Holder, of the St. Petersburg Times, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Carnell Williams (foot) will need plenty of rest to completely recover from his foot injury. "The problem with the arch is the stress that goes through there is very high," said Dr. Ned Amendola, director of sports medicine at the University of Iowa. "And for a guy who is a superior athlete, the stresses are significantly increased. That means it takes more time to heal. You really have to be 100 percent because you're going to put so much of a load on it." Williams has said he has strained the tendons in the mid-foot area. "It's really an uncertain dilemma, and MRIs can't always tell you how bad it is," Amendola said. "You have to really put it all together and really listen to the athlete." The Buccaneers had a Bye in Week 7 and Williams has previously stated he expects to play in Week 8.

With noone at qb, expect him to return. though, Expect time to be split with pittman.

He's commenting in general and has nothing to do with the Bucs or Carnell Williams. He doesn't know anything more about Caddy's specific injury than what the reporter fed him. Menace 0 Posted October 26, 2005 I wonder if it would be worth picking up Pittman and starting him instead of K.Jones?

I figured out how this works, it was in a local paper. The NFL selects physicians before the season starts, and then they are randomly used as injuries come up. A physician from a town near here was selected to be used in this system, and it said that he could expect to see 4-5 players per year. That's how it works
cmh6476 757 Posted October 26, 2005 also, someone wanna help me out? I've got Tiki, Caddy, Pittman, T Jones and Droughns and I need to start
Heckler 0 Posted October 26, 2005 I've got both Caddy and Pittman on my team. I am really hurting at RB and may have to result to starting them. My other options are C.Brown, J.Bettis, T.Fisher and I just picked up T.Henry to handcuff Brown.
Da Judge 2 Posted October 26, 2005 Does anyone seeing Caddy getting more than 15 carries first game back? I don't. Pittman should get 20 carries and several receptions against a horrible D. I may roll the dice and start him over Westbrook and LJ.
