Ideal 2005 FF Playoff Team

I'm 6-1 and feeling good to make the playoffs (8 out of 14 make it). I'm starting to think (early albeit) about stocking my team for the playoffs. So, for instance, Jimmy Smith sounds appealing (Ind, SF, Hou) while Driver is less so (Det, Bal, Chi).

 

If you could put together your ideal playoff team (weeks 14-16, let's say), what would it be?

 

Let's assume standard scoring, no PPR.

 

I'd say:

 

QB: McNabb (NYG, StL, Ari) or Bulger (Min, Phi, SF)

RB: SA (SF, Ten, Ind), LT (Mia, Ind, KC - tough but it's LT), or Jackson (Min, Phi, SF) or Westbrook (NYG, StL, Ari)

WR: Holt (Min, Phi, SF), TO (NYG, StL, Ari) or Smith (Ind, SF, Hou) or DJax (SF, Ten, Ind)

TE: Gates (Mia, Ind, KC), LJ Smith (NYG, StL, Ari), Heap (Den, GB, Min)

K: Who cares

D: NE (Buf, TB, NYJ) or Pit (Chi, Min, Cle)

 

What are your thoughts?

I would want whatever Defense that plays the Texans, and whatever players that play against the 49ers.

im too lazy to do my research but here are some on the list I dont like

 

McNabb cuz hes hurt and they may wanna rest him... Bulgers also out right now

When does DJ get healthy agaiN?

Weak Pass Defenses arent neccessarily the ones that give up tds to TEs

Who knows if NE will ever get on track w/o harrison, and Buffalo does run straight at them which is their weakness so idk
