HalleluYAH 0 Posted October 27, 2005 Has anyone done a trade on cbs.sportsline? OUr trade rules require a 24 hours voting period in which iof the trade recived more than 3 objections the trade then goes on to the league commissioner for veto or final denial. I sent an email to cbs commish and requested that if the trade received the 4 objections that it is thrown out if not vetoed (approved) in time for week 8 line-up freeze. I am trading for a QB becuase Hassles is on BYE and will not need the trade for next week. Anyone had an experience like this?
Churchill610 0 Posted October 27, 2005 Drop the voting altogether.
Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted October 27, 2005 If there is a 24 hour period of time, that period starts at midnight the day AFTER the trade is accepted (actually whatever time they start waivers). So, if you want this deal to go through, it must be accepted by the other trading party by 11:59PM on Friday. The voting will occur on Saturday, and the trade will be executed for you Sunday morning (ours happens around 1:30AM). If it is vetoed, then get on the waiver wire on Sunday morning. The other option is to keep an eye on it on Saturday. If you get up to 5, you know that it is going to the commish. Check with him ahead of time to see if he would reject it if there are 5+ votes. Not all trades that are vetoed by 5+ members will get vetoed by the commish (at least that is how it should be). HTH
