yojimbo81 0 Posted April 9, 2006 A store like Borders really needs to be open 24 hours. I've always wondered what kind of business it would do. Right now I'm bored out of my witts. I'm in the middle of a move so all of my books, dvds, and cds are packed away into a P.O.D. that is sitting out of my driveway. My television is still hooked up but I have no cable and SNL hasn't been good in 10 years. I also have the urge to pick up the Bill James Baseball Abstract. Flipping thru magazines couldn't hurt right now either. Borders has been closed for 16 minutes as of this posting. I like places like Borders. The time I spend there is ridiculous. When I'm bored I go to Borders and usually end up spending money. If they were open 24 hrs I would probably spend even more. I've always liked the idea of a 24 hr record store as well. Though I assume many places aren't to anxious to keep a store open 24 hours. Staff needs to be paid and I'll bet it's a rise in insurance rates too. Oh well...at least I have FFToday to keep me busy.
