Brodrick Bunkley

Winston Justice

Michael Huff

If one of these three isn't drafted by the bills i would be surprised. Huff probably wont be there so i would think its mostly down to justice and bunkley

The Bills won't take anyone in the draft because they are complaining it will cost them too much! Trade all picks for free you whinny owner.

What about Ngata? Or whatever his name is...

Anyway, I am REALLY hoping for Winston Justice.

I'm not as high on R.Bush as some others are. I know he's a top 5 player but I wouldn't want him if I were the Texans. I'd take D.Brick first. That would mean that the Jets would most likely take W.Justice.

For the Bills, I can see them taking the best wr on the board or V.Davis at Te.

From what I've heard, it does not sound like Ngata is the kind of DT the Bills are looking for so that might pass on him if he's there at no.8. I think I read that on kffl.com or ffmastermind.com within the last few days.

I wonder if the Bill's front office will be a little gun shy when it comes to pulling the trigger and drafting a tackle after the Mike Williams debacle...

Like most teams, the Bills have been really quiet about who they are going to draft. The only prospect that has visited their facility has been Ngata.

Put down the pipe and slowly back away from the keyboard. The Jets are not taking no Winston Justice, not with players like Mario Williams, AJ Hawk, and maybe Lienart still on the board at 4

What he said

Uhh... No.

Foxsports doesn't think it is that far fetched... but by judging their fantasy projections from last year... that's not saying much.

Big Buff Homer here.

First off, they are in one of the best spots in the Draft IMO. The reason I say that is because they will not have to pay top 5 money (which is substantially larger than the subsequent picks in the top 10), and they will have a ton of options left. Depending on the way it goes down, it looks like Bush, Leinart, D'Brick, Mario, and AJ go in the top 5. This leaves 5 other stellar prospects on board - Huff, Ngata, Justice, V.Davis, and Bunkley, all of whom would fill a hole in Buffalo. The fact that they will get one of those players is comforting enough to me. At no. 6, it looks like either Huff or Davis will be picked, with Davis the likely go (allowing SF to focus on D with 22 overall from Denver - considering D is particularly more deep than any TE or WR spot in the first round). That being the case, it looks like Oakland will either go QB (which I don't think) or DT. I think Ngata is a prime fit to go here, but if they do take a QB, it leaves more doors open for the Bills. So one of Bunkley or Justice will surely be available, with Huff and Ngata as possibilities. If all 4 of them are there, I think Buff goes with Huff, as they did upgrade their D-tackle position this offseason, but have considerable need in the secondary, and Huff is an absolute stud. O-line is deep in this draft, and one of McNeil, Winston, or Scott should be available for the Bills in the second - all of whom grade out very close to Justice IMO. If SF does take Huff, the Bills take V. Davis, and vise versa. D-line is an option, but I think they have bigger needs on the porous offense and in the secondary. If somehow V.Davis and Huff go to SF and Oaktown (in whatever order), then the bills go with Ngata, who is beast of a man with unparallelled physical mechanics at his position.

Why not? I've seen the tapes on Justice and he's no slouch. People are just as high on W.Justice as they are on D.Brick. They've even said that the 2 of them could be considered equal.

Everyone knows the Jets need to upgrade their O-line asap.

I'd like to see them take the best O-line player available.

If I had my choice I'd like them to take D.Brick because all of the hype is on him.

But I've said that the Texans should take him over Bush.

Who knows what will happen because every year the NFL draft comes along there are some teams who will go in a totally different direction.

If Houston takes Ferguson then one of Leinart, Williams and Bush will be available at 4.

No way in the World NYJ takes Justice.

I can see your point if those are the players available for the Jets at their pick.

The Jets really need O-line help though.

But I will say that if they decided to take a Qb I'd rather see them take Jay Cutler.

I've seen people say that he could be the next Favre.

This is a basic summary of what I am hearing:

The Bills two biggest needs (according to Marv Levy and ###### Jauron) are the offensive and defensive lines.

Both positions got SOME help in free agency, but certainly not enough to feel comfortable going into the season.

> At pick #8, the best offensive lineman (D'Brickashaw Ferguson) will likely be gone. That leaves Winston Justice, who is certainly a possibility, unless someone else snatches him up first...possibly the Raiders at #7.

One thing to consider, is that the Bills might be gunshy to grab another tackle high in the draft, after the huge bust that was Mike Williams.

> If the Bills choose to go with the other side of the ball, there are two big DTs I could see them taking: Haloti Ngata or Brodrick Bunkley.

Ngata is generally considered the better of the two. But many reports from the Buffalo news sources are saying that Bunkley is a better fit for the Bills new Cover 2 scheme.

Remember that these reports are not coming from the Buffalo front office, but rather from sports writers trying to find something interesting to talk about.

So far, Ngata is the only player the Bills have brought in to visit.

> A little bit of a longshot could be Michael Huff. The Bills don't need him really bad this year, but Nate Clements still does not have a long-term deal worked out. If the front office decides to start planning for the future, and deems Clements too expensive, this really could happen.

Personally, I think the Bills are going to take Ngata.

He fills (what I think is) their biggest need, and would quiet the critics who have blasted Buffalo for letting go of Pat Williams and Sam Adams.

I also don't buy into this "not fitting the defensive scheme" theory that is spreading around town. Most mocks had the Bills taking Ngata back in February, and the sports writers needed to get something going, to get people discussing the draft.

My two cents.
