Marvin Lewis...

Returning 7 months after a knee injury like that sure seems risky, but hey, what do I know. Sure, he's not a RB who relies on his knees for elusiveness and cutting ability, but any football player with a questionable leg raises a huge flag.

For those who take a risk with drafting him in one of the the first three rounds, GL.

I may be one of those guys.

I would think his playing should be more determined by when he and the doctors think he's capable of playing than some arbitrary date set by the head coach.

If you read the linked article, he is way ahead of sched. by all accounts.

His doctors have even said that it will be totally up to Palmer once we get into August.

With Carson's make up, you had to know that he would be absolutely hell-bent on rehabbing like crazy. As long as he's back by week 3 of the reg. season, the Bengals will be fine. They seem to be set on opening day though.

I'll tell you this. If Palmer is back within the first 3 weeks, the Bengals win the AFC this year.

What do the Bengals care, they let Rudi play all year last year with something torn in his left knee.

As a Palmer dynasty owner, I want him back on the field, but would rather have him on the field for years to come than playing week 1.

Be cautious with my young stud QB!

I would guess that was his LCL or something similarly minor and probably wasn't a severe tear.
