Quick Question about Yahoo Custom FF League

My league has been using Yahoo for 5 years, we like it, its visually appealing, easy etc...

 

I don't think we can convince everyone to switch...

 

I did an ESPN league last year where if you picked up a guy before wednesday, he would be a waiver claim, and only a FA after WED or THU, or whatever.

 

This would be great, because in our league, sunday is a free-for-all where people are picking up backups to injured running backs, WRs that are breaking out, etc... so those with sundays off are at a huge advantage.

 

It also makes sundays more relaxing to have that bceause you don't have to worry about staring at headlines to see if someone his hurt. you can just relax and watch football.

 

I thought maybe upgrading to a PLUS league would allow this, but through all my searching, I can't find any information on if we upgrade to a plus league if that would allow that feature?

 

Any information on this topic would be appriciated.

You have to setup the waiver wire system. I think they have a Sun-Tue Waiver Wire option - you have to make your answer Yes on this.

thats the question- with a reg league, you can only choose how long a player is on waivers, not an option to make them automatically be on waivers starting on every SUN.

 

I'm wondering if with a plus league thats an option?

I can guarantee you 100% that you will have that option with a Plus league. I saw the option while making a free custom but it's grayed out and says you need to upgrade to Plus to use it.

 

That's pretty much the only reason we don't use Yahoo. We don't want to have to worry about that stuff on Sundays. We use the free version of Fanball which alows that and any other option I've seen for leagues that cost $, which is why I really don't know why more people don't use that site.

I agree about not wanting to pay for it; but you would end up paying for live scoring (yahoos stat tracker) anyway somwhere else. and plus isabout $120 divide that by 12 and is only $10 a person to upgrade to plus; so its the same price as paying for stat tracker anyway. so not toob ad.
