superskin#99 0 Posted July 6, 2006 I have to pick two out of LJ, Portis, and S. Smith. My league is expanding from 8 teams to 12 this season. After keepers are picked there will be a two round, four team expansion draft so whoever is left will not be available. Standard scoring plus .5 ppr.
Wildman 0 Posted July 6, 2006 LJ and Portis. That's a dream backfield. You should find decent receivers to supplement your talents at Rb...

cntblah 0 Posted July 6, 2006 I think LJ and Steve Smith is clearly the better choice - with the PPR. Portis doesn't catch many passes and I'm not a big fan of the Redskins offense (led by Mark Brunnell?). Their defense will dictate that the offense plays very conservatively, and Portis will get a lot of 9-man fronts. Plus, he plays in the toughest division in the NFL - he will continue to be solid, but not spectacular.
froggsnflfan53 0 Posted July 6, 2006 LJ and Portis is one hell of a back field. Depending on your scoring system, you could have 400+ ffpts sitting right there. There are plenty of serviceable WR around when you have that kind of punch.
ellisonb11 0 Posted July 6, 2006 LJ and Portis no question. the 1.01 and 1.04 pick both on ur team? i think u should like.
PTAKBuCS 0 Posted July 6, 2006 It's hard to NOT keep Steve Smith, but you have to go with the RBs.

Manifest Destiny 0 Posted July 8, 2006 LJ and Portis. If you can start those two in a 12 team league, your team will be tough to beat.
Bad_Intentions 0 Posted July 11, 2006 LJ and SS SS gives you RB numbers plus the points he gets per reception are just gravy. Portis wont score many TD's at WASH but will get the yardage. I wouldn't let go of a player like Smith though.
OriginalMonkeyBoy 0 Posted July 11, 2006 It's hard to NOT keep Steve Smith, but you have to go with the RBs. This is what I was thinking. It's tough to give up Smith, but with all of the unsettled RB situations and RBBC's out there, for you to land 2 top notch guys?...yea, I'd keep the backs. ...Please see my post
Bezzerck 0 Posted July 11, 2006 I would keep LJ and Portis. However I would shop around Portis and Steve Smith for a draft pick. If you can get a significantly better draft pick for Portis I would keep LJ and Smith and then have a better overall team with the extra picks that I got in a trade.
