coryjagfan28 0 Posted July 14, 2006 I posted a few months back about paypal suspending my account because of fantasy football. Apparently, they feel it is a form of gambling. I had to sign a paper agreeing not to use paypal for that reason anymore, or else I would get suspended permanently. Well, I told all my other friends about it too, so they would not get in trouble. One friend continued to accept antes that way, but told people to write different reasons. Some of the descriptions: (he is a bills fan) "JP Losman memorial fund" "JP Losman for the HOF campaign" "Gay porn" "used anal wipes" well, apparently, you cannot sale adult material thru paypal either, because he got suspended anyways. While he was complaining to paypal and trying to make a case for selling used anal wipes, they responded with this email: We apologize for any confusion regarding the limitation on your account. Initially, we limited your account for possibly violating the mature audiance guidelines. However, after further review, we see that you are hosting a fantasy sports league. This is a violation of our gambling policy because you do not have a disclaimer on your forum (http://board.spawn.com/forums/archiv...0314-p-6.html). The Policy prohibits the use of PayPal to send or receive payments for any form of gambling activities, including but not limited to payment for wagers, gambling debts or gambling winnings, whether conducted online, in person or through any other means of communication. This includes all casino games, sports books and sports betting, horse and greyhound racing, person-to-person betting, and certain games of skill. apparently, they arent playing around. Im making sure everyone in my league sends me money orders cory
