joesmith 0 Posted July 18, 2006 Judging from projections, adp, etc. it looks like most people think that outside of Bush, Addai has the best chance of contributing this year. But let's look down the road. Again, outside of Bush, who do you think has the most potential three or four years down the line? Feel free to add the names of longshots that you think are flying under the radar as well.

famousb 11 Posted July 18, 2006 DWilliams: will be playing behind an injury prone RB in a run-first offense. and was touted by many as the best pure runner in this year's draft class.

I'm a little bit surprised by the voting so far - not totally, but a bit. What are the thoughts on Maroney? Is he getting the votes because he is on a superior team or because he is the best back? I think that most people feel that this may be the end of the line for Dillon, but what about Foster? He has been hurt just about every year - is DeAngelo Williams receiving less votes because he plays on what you might consider a lesser team or is it because of the competition from Foster? Honestly, about two months ago I might have voted for White, but with his attitude and work ethic so far, I couldn't pull the trigger on him.

lguero1 4 Posted July 18, 2006 i figured the cheeseheads would be voting for Calhoun so i tried to vote for the one i figured was getting no love and i went with white. addai is obvious since peyton is 30 and will probably be around for 3 more years. Why do I keep feeling that a Humes or Norwood could be the 1st or 2nd best back from this draft due to the teams they went to? Plus, my crystal ball has been broken on the rookies and I just can't see how they will play out (I know lame answer, but a different perspective none the less). bjlmonster 0 Posted July 18, 2006 My money is on Norwood, but I am a biased owner. I believe he is has the perfect running style for a run first team, whose RB's are on the old or out of favor side.

I agree. I am hoping to grab him in my Dynasty league. At Round 13+ (hopefully), he should bring better value and less risk than the others.
Super Cubs 154 Posted July 18, 2006 Maroney for the RBs but over all I say Young will be the best from this rookie class.
joesmith 0 Posted July 19, 2006 Where did Norwood and Humes play college ball (obviously I haven't done enough of my rookie research yet Solid, multi-year collegiate careers?
