FlaHawker 24 Posted July 30, 2006 My draft is not until Aug 30th, so I have been participating in as many mocks as possible, trying to pick from every spot. It's a 12 team keeper, all TD's 6pts, ppr league. I notice that every time I pick in the top three by the time I get to pick again in late round 2, the available RB's ar usually Droughns, Dunn, Foster, FWP, Bell, or Chester taylor. I'm not crazy about those guys so i usually end up going WR and then in RD 3 Gates. Tht leaves a huge whole at RB depsite getting one of the top three. I am thinking that if I get one of the top three picks (won't be determined until the night of the draft) I might try to trade up in round two by offeeing my 3rd rounder and in return to even the number of picks I would take either a 5, 6, or 7. So bqsically the trade could look like this: I trade picks# 24 and 25 for picks 19 and 54. My thought processi s that if i take say LJ at # 1 I could possible come back with either Westy or Mcgahee at 19 and then in Rd 4 grab WR and then in rd 5 go back to RB and WR.Thus my roster might look somthing like this: LJ Westy Driver Burress Addai or D Williams Has anyone ever seen a deal like this made?
