I really like the Payton-Saints combo just because I think Haslett really screwed things up and the Saints have some talent. The only thing I don't like is the division...it's a tough one.

I agree. Payton is a good offensive coach who can do alot with the personel he has in place. With Brees, Horn, Stallworth, Deuce, and Bush, he could really put up some offensive numbers. Thats going to be the best for FF players....

Real life may be the Rams though. They do have alot of talent already...

Dont know what you teams you guys have been watching, Payton had his offensive play calling duties stripped from him twice, once in NY when Fassell assumed control and then took the team to the Super Bowl and then in Dallas as well. Payton sucks in my opinion. Dallas fans were calling for his head all season last year, I was glad to see him gone. Again, it might have been Bill Parcells boring play calling that limited Payton's imagination but I doubt it.

Edwards/Chiefs.

Of those mentioned so far, he's the only one with head coaching experience. He's a ball control coach that inherits a stud RB and a veteran QB. I think his impact will be felt on the defensive side of the ball; acquiring guys like Law certainly doesn't hurt there.

Yes, there's been much hand-wringing over Roaf's retirement, but there's a whole pre-season to fill that slot. Not saying there's another Hall of Famer on the roster, but the timing is about as good as it's going to get.
