I can see Football Scooter's bizarre Kevan Barlow fetish continues. Not only does he see the world through 49er tinted goggles but he attacks anyone else who differs in opinion even though they back their opinion up with articles and years of stats. Something Scooter fails to be able to do himself as he clings desperately to Kevan Barlow's jock strap with objective, concise arguments like "Gore is like a jar of pickles".

What's funny Barlow Scooter, is that you may even be right that Barlow wins that job and gets the bulk of carries in a RBBC, you're more likely wrong though, but your cult-like devotion to this guy and strange attacks on people who make sound arguments against you are becoming comical. There are two people acting like tools (3 now) and deserved whatever barbs they received.

 

The rest of my posts are civil and take a broad perspective approach. It is the narrow minded people like you who fail to see the big picture that deserve ridicule. If you fail to recognize that there's been no team in SF the last 3 years, then you aren't paying attention. And if you believe that any player from mediocre to spectacular can meet the unrealistic expectations of fantasy geeks while playing on a heartless & largely talentless Niners team, then you're paying attention, just none too bright.

 

I have said time and again in this very topc and others that I think it will be RBBC in SF. I said in the Barlow/Gore topic that I saw them as having similar numbers. The only knck on Gore is his healthy, and time and again I hear from Niners coaching that they wouldn't want to overuse him. If sharing that with the geeks at FFT makes you think of me a biased loser with "Barlow lube job" in my rectum, I'd say you need to re-evaluate your position in life, for clearly it's not working out for you to date.

No, it doesn't. My logic consists of evaluating the big picture and more often taking cautious approaches to what I say and my predictions.

Only the football handicapped think Barlow is really going to beat out Gore for the starting job in SF this year. The disparity in talent between the two is CLEAR AS DAY. I mean, to me at least, this isn't even a debate. Gore is twice the player Barlow is....and the problems that Barlow has CAN'T be fixed in my opinion...he simply runs with a lack of vision between the tackles. That, ladies and gentlemen, is something you either have....or you don't....and after all these seasons it's pretty evident Barlow has never had it.

 

Gore is really starting to look like a fantasy gem this year.....Norv Turner's track record is impressive....I wouldn't be surprised to see Gore put up decent #2 RB fantasy numbers...at the very least he makes a great #3 RB this year. Barlow won't be in a Niner uniform next year.
