I just wanted to get some feedback. I recently went through my first mock draft. 10-team league, non-keeper, no PPR, pretty standard rules. I drafted in the 10-spot. This will be my first year in a league and wanted some general noobie advice for draft day. Thanks everyone!

QB - P. Manning (11), Plummer (90)

RB - C. Williams (10), Dunn (51), J. Lewis (30), Duce (131)

WR - Chambers (31), Housh (50), Driver (70), Burleson (91),

Jurevicius (111), M. Muhammad (130), Coles (150)

TE - Witten (71)

D/ST - Colts (110)

K - Feely (151)

After looking at this list, I see that I probably have too many receivers and not enough quality RB's. Be honest, but remember I am very new at this.

Thanks.

Not a bad team at all. I am not a J. Lewis fan but hopefully he put his troubles behind him and he can get close to where he was - an elite RB. Dunn and Staley are good back-ups. I probably would have taken another TE since you only have one. I don't know what the impact, if any, TO and Fasano have on Whitten's numbers. What happens on your bye weeks with no def., TE, or kicker? Overall I think you did fine.

Good team.

The #1 QB and and solid backup.

RB's are OK. Dunn is a solid #2 in most formats. Lewis could surprise.

WR's are Good. Chambers is top 10 for sure. Drive is an absolute steal at 70. You might find weeks where you start him over Housh depending on the matchup. Good depth here as well.

TE Witten is solid. Should have a fine year.

Colts D is pretty good.

K - who cares. lol

Good job. You should compete at the very least.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still experimenting with the mock drafts. I just dont want to screw up my team come the real draft day. I don't know how Driver slipped so far and I knew Lewis would be a gamble, but he could have a great comeback year since he wasn't 100% last year. I sort of lost focus in the later rounds and just started grabbing best available instead of backing up my starters on D, K, TE.

I'll try another this evening and see how it goes. Hopefully this time I draw a better starting spot in the draft and try to go RB/RB the first two rounds. Thanks again!

Ya done good, man :shocking:

With the 10th pick, grabbing Manning at 11 isn't a bad move. Alternatively, grabbing a second RB is an option, but it depends on who's still left. At that point, the RBs that are left aren't as certain to be producers as the guys who got taken before, so grabbing a sure thing like Manning is a way to avoid your #11 pick RB being a clunker.

You're right in your analysis of the RB/WR ratio, but I really think that you could only have used one less WR, and one more back. If you're starting two RBs and three WRs, that is. As others have said, Chambers, Housh, and Driver will score well for you, and if Lewis comes back to form, your RB ranks improve. And there's good reason to think Lewis will come back. 1) he's not in prison right now, and 2) McNair will make defenses respect the passing game.

This was a 12 man mock draft (since it looks like our league might go from 10 to 12 now). I think I am getting a lot better with waiting for guys and filling out the positions with quality backups. What do you guys think of this team? I think I have QB issues as I wasn't paying close enough attention to how fast they were going off the board before I grabbed a backup. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

QB - Bulger (7.5), Simms (12.8)

RB - Portis (1.5), C. Talyor (3.5), Benson (5.5), Rhodes (6.8)

WR - TO (2.8), Galloway (4.8), Kennison (8.8), M. Jones (9.5), A Bryant (15.5)

TE - V. Davis (10.8), Clark (13.5)

D - Jacksonville (11.5), Washington (16.8)

K - J. Brown (14.8)

Yeah, I'd probably want someone a little better as Bulger's backup, what with his shoulder issues last year. I traded for him mid-year, and I never got to use him because of injuries...
