I think the pick I'd want to talk about is 4.12/5.1 I think Shockey was a good value, and if I waited Chris Cooley would've been the best te avail at the next pick (Davis, LJ also avail. Of course I could've waited several picks and tried to go Winslow/Watson)

 

However, I'm not sure about Dunn. I could've also drafted a Cedric Benson/Fred Taylor/Deuce McCallister or Rhodes/Addai, but I think Dunn is best left.

 

Alternatively, I could've gotten a WR like Driver/Walker or Galloway, but then my RB3 would be a Frank Gore/Chris Brown type, at the next picks.

The team looks ok, here are my comments off the top of my head.

 

-too early for shockey in my opinion, there's a lot of depth at TE, and I would have waited, maybe picked up a better #3 RB, or a more solid #2 WR.

 

-Overall, good depth at WR, I like the Brown and Mason picks in particular.

 

-I don't like either QB, but that's my personal preference.

 

-I think that Dunn was the best guy available. Yes, he looses some goal line looks, but he's the starter for sure, you can't necessarily say that about most of the other backs who were left.

I agree that shockey was a reach in Rd. 4 - because of that your #1 WR is really a #2 although I do like Dmason alot in PPR's - Obviously you have to love westbrook in a PPR so you are set @ RB1 and 2.

 

Overall pretty solid - I don't like Vick but if he's healthy he's a borderline starter. LJ will carry the team and should be enough to get you into the playoffs by himself...

i like your team. i think you might be a little weak a qb. vick is inconsistent and you never know when mcnair is going to play.

Cool, a lot of people have said the QBs are a little weak. And they definitely are b/c people kept drafting them early. Eli Maning went in round 2!!!

 

Do you or anyone else have some other mid/late round QBs that you like?

ive been doing some mocks and ive been getting bledsoe in the 7th/8th. delhomme can go in the mid rounds. you can scoop warner up pretty late but i did only as a back up. the guy has a lot of potential but he's injury prone and that is a major concern.
