Anquan Boldin - could have 2 top 10 WRs. Kevin Jones - new coach, new o-coordinator? Carson Palmer - knee? I pick 9th in the draft. What do you guys think? I'd say you probably need to keep one RB or the other, because if most people keep two RBs and you have to let 8 more picks go by, it could be slim pickins by the time you get to pick an RB. Normally I'd say DD over Jones, but that knee still has me very nervous. Jones is supposed to be the every-down back in Detroit this year, and all the reports from Lions camp have been encouraging. Besides, any RB who's not likely to split carries has quite a bit of value, provided that he can stay healthy. I like DD's upside better, but there's a lot of risk to go along with that upside, so I'd be nervous about keeping him. Good luck! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
WhiteWonder 2,197 Posted August 4, 2006 im going to go the other way and say you keep either Boldin or Palmer and hope that some other teams dont keep 2 rb's... maybe someone keeps a manning, owens, holt etc.... I think Palmer is the one to keep if he comes back fine for week 1 but thats just me.. id take my chances on guys like dillon, roy williams, wayne etc to fill out your roster Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
manola 0 Posted August 4, 2006 I think I'd have to keep Boldin. Although I'd really like to have a RB keeper, I don't think these guys are the answer. Boldin could very well outscore both Dom and KJ, especially with Dom being injured. When you consider that RBs are often the highest scoring fantasy position, that's even more impressive. If you count ppr, Boldin might be the guy. But I like Kevin Jones this year. I think he'll be a solid #2 RB for a team.
