I'd usually go w/ 2 bakcs but JJ is a bit iffy. I like Brady this year but i think there are QB's out there that could put up close to his same numbers, maybe even Bledsoe. So I'd go with the solid back and the solid,if not great, WR's.

I agree if you draft fairly early.

 

If you draft late, your chances of getting a top end RB are slim to nil so JJ may not be bad to keep.

 

When leaving someone unprotected you should ask yourself... can I get a player that is comparable to this guy with my first round draft pick. If the answer is 'Yes' then you're okay not protecting him.

 

That is the bottom line.

 

I got lucky and picked JJ in my draft at the end of round 2 (10 team league, 3 protections per team) so this would make the equivalent of the end of round 5 in a redraft league. Personally I felt he shoulda went around the end of the previous round.

I agree with fantasybowl. Depending on scoring the 3 to keep are Rudi, Marvin, and Randy. There are too many available QB with stats that are too similar for my taste.
