vlade117 0 Posted August 21, 2006 I can't seem to figure this out, or I'm just overlooking something. Below is my league's scoring system. As you'll see, 1pt per 10yds for Rushing/Receiving up to 109yds. Then it's 2pts per 10yds. And for QB's, it's 1pt per 25yds up to 274yds, then 2pts per 25yds. How do I input this in the system? Points Rushing or Receiving Yards 1 10 to 19 2 20 to 29 3 30 to 39 4 40 to 49 5 50 to 59 6 60 to 69 7 70 to 79 8 80 to 89 9 90 to 99 10 100 to 109 12 110 to 119 14 120 to 129 16 130 to 139 18 140 to 149 20 150 to 159 22 160 to 169 24 170 to 179 26 180 to 189 28 190 to 199 30 200+ Points Passing Yards 1 25 to 49 2 50 to 74 3 75 to 99 4 100 to 124 5 125 to 149 6 150 to 174 7 175 to 199 8 200 to 224 9 225 to 249 10 250 to 274 12 275 to 299 14 300 to 324 16 325 to 349 18 350 to 374 20 375 to 399 22 400 to 424 24 425 to 449 26 450 to 474 28 475 to 499 30 500+
vlade117 0 Posted August 21, 2006 ok, is this right? QB's I would enter 1 ff pt per 25 units passing, then 1 ff pt per 25 units over 274yds. I would just have to change the 300 passing yard game to 275. RB's 1 ff pt for every 10 units, then 1 ff pt every 10 units over 109??
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted August 22, 2006 Hi vlade. No, that's not quite it. Your league scoring cannot be copied exactly in the Compiler. The 100+ and 300+ categories are number of games a player exceeds 100 rush/receive yards or 300 passing yards. My suggestion would be to use 1 point per 10 for rush/receive yards, and 1 point per 25 for passing yards in the regular scoring categories. Then use +2 for a 100 yard rush/receive game, and +2 or +3 for a 300 yard passing game. This is going to be very close to your leagues scoring. It will result in the fantasy points being slightly understated when a player exceeds 129 rush/receive yards in a game, or 324 passing yards. I don't think that is too bad, because those are pretty high totals that won't be hit that many times in a year, so it will have a minimal impact on the rankings. vlade117 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Thanks Mike, appreciate it. Last question... Our TD scoring is gives points just for the yardage of the TD. example TD Points TD Rush 5 1 - 5 yds 7 6 - 15 yds 10 16 - 29 yds 13 30 - 49 yds 15 50 - 74 yds 18 75+ Will the projections be altered if I enter "0" in the pts column for TD and only add the pts in the TD distance scoring? Or should I enter 5 pts for TD's, then start the distance scoring at 6yds, giving a 2pt bonus? I ran the projections both ways and it seems to be the same, but I just want to be sure. zhinz 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Yeah, you can do it either way. Just don't do 5 for TDs and a 7 point bonus for 1-10.

zhinz 0 Posted August 28, 2006 7 point bonus? wouldn't it be just a 2, 5, 8, etc. pt bonus for each? Exactly. Some people get confused and give a double bonus.
