J5 0 Posted August 23, 2006 I wanted to get a thread going to discuss the dilemma that many of us will encounter in the 2nd or 3rd rounds of our drafts, WR 1 vs. RB2. What is everyone's drop off point. I will give you my situation and others can respond and provide theirs. I play in a non-PPR 12 team keeper league and I am keeping LJ and Holt. Now due to some deft trading I have the 3.5, 4.1, 4.7, 5.3 picks. I have thought all along that I would be taking a rb at 3.5, possibly Dunn, KJ, or C. Taylor. However, what do I do if a player such as Boldin, Chambers, Moss, or Wayne is available at this spot? What is the breaking point in which you sacrafice overall value vs. need. In my opinion Wayne is a great #2 wr to team with Holt but is a combination of LJ/Foster or Dillon Holt/Wayne better than LJ/Dunn Holt/Williams or Ward
ppierce 2 Posted August 23, 2006 sometimes it may pay to take a rb2 over wr1 though. rb2's still may have more value than wr1's due to the scarcity of the rb this year.
