Me_2006 14 Posted August 25, 2006 You really dont NEED the trade. You're solid at WR and losing a RB is never really a good thing. I would see if he wont add Duckett to the trade or just see if you cant get him to add some RB just to have another on your roster. If he wont, then go ahead and pull the trigger because you're basically trading a #3 RB that you wont ever play for a top 5 WR with the potential to be huge. If nothing else Moss is great trade bait because with Ward, Chambers, Plax, Branch and Lelie you're sitting pretty at WR. Go ahead and make the deal if you think Barlow and Bell will live up to expectations. But then again, Lewis is a risk too. Take the trade but try to get a RB in return since you said he wants to trade badly. Milk it for what its worth and if he wont budge go ahead and take the deal. Good luck. Just give me some input. dominus florenzus 0 Posted August 25, 2006 If you're giving up Randy for Jamal.... . If you're giving up Jamal for Randy.... Agreed. Lewis' days are past him. Esp. if you have a good backfield already, NO WAY!
Camaro24 0 Posted August 25, 2006 Is Jamal or Mike Anderson starting? If Jamal is second string then it's almost a no brainer to swap. You say he's pushing hard to get Jamal, like one of the other guys said you migth be able to get another back out of the trade. TJ or Fred Taylor. If Taylor stays healthy you'd still have a backup worth something. Moss could also be trade bait as well.
